Chapter 6

After what happened at night Dion looked at Medea sleeping remembering that she cried.

'How...unusual'.

He looked at Medea from a far and thought to himself.

'To think that people can still cry, I have never seen it before'.

In the Agriche, if you cry you are very weak so the members of the Agriche will never be seen crying and are taught to be though. Dion was shock to see Medea cry and to actually see a strong person at that.

"Just how was your life that you have to cry it all out?".

He said and watched outside the cave admiring the beautiful purple night sky.

Helio finally arrived at the battle flied and looked down at the cliff.

'There must be some clues that Lady Medea left'.

He took a glance at the river and notice Medea's sword stuck in between two large stones. Good thing that it's low tide and Helio spotted it quickly. He walk around the area and found a safe way to go down the river.

Helio took Medea's sword and looked at where the river is headed.

'I better go back and prepare some men to search for Medea'.

He furrowed his eyebrow remembering that the enemy grabbed Medea.

"There's a possibility that, they are together".

And he went back up with Medea's sword and investigated the area more.

'I'm coming Medea, please be safe'.

He thought and clenched his fist tightly.

It has already been two weeks and Dion's wound has almost been healed with the help of Medea's herbs and some punching to black him out when she's appling the herbs.

"Why do you have to keep doing that?".

Dion asked with an angry tone after he woke up from Medea's punching.

"It's uncomfortable when you are awake".

Of course, straight answer as always.

"It's amazing how your wounds are healing so fast".

"I got use to it in the past".

When Dion said that, Medea's eyes widen.

"In the past? Were you were also tortured?".

With the word also Dion looked at her with wide eyes.

"What do you mean by 'also' were you taught to be strong in a cruel way?".

When Dion said that, both of them lock eyes with each other.

"I have to be strong and smart to meet my dad's expectations of me".

Medea said. Dion just stared at her with a thought.

'To think that not only the Agriche are taught in a cruel way but also her'.

Dion placed his hand on Medea's shoulder and placed his head on her other shoulder and said to her in a low calm voice that can reach only her ears.

"I know you said that you don't want me to remember this but, is the reason why you cried, because of too burden that you are carrying and if you did a mistake, you'll meet painful punishments".

"Why are you so confident in saying that, did you also experience it too?".

Medea whispered on Dion's ear.

"Yeah, that's why you have to call me 'Dion' and not 'Agriche' because I know that my dad took me out the family with my mistake".

With what Dion said, Medea's head is filled with curiosity but her main question is nothing but.

"Where will you go once we separate our ways?"

"Probably anywhere and not in the Agriche".

And an idea filled her head.

"Well, unlike you I still have to go back to where I belon-"

Before Medea can finish, a bear is at the entrance of the cave looking very hungry.

"B...bear..look out".

She said with a stuttering voice.

'What in the why is a bear here?'.

Medea thought and Dion quickly took his knife from Medea's pocket and charge at the bear. And in a second, the bear was beheaded leaving nothing but splash of blood and Medea's eyes widen.

When Dion looked back, Medea's face has a smile printed on her face. Medea went near to Dion and whispered to his ear.

"Can you help me with something?".

Ever since the head of the Agriche made Roxanne the first ranking taking Dion's place, the house has been busy preparing for the celebration.

"To Roxanne for achieving the first rank".

The head said and held his champagne glass on the air. Roxanne just smiled and when take she take a sip, she smirked a villainess smirk and thought.

'To think that's he's celebrating and saying that it's my achievement when in reality he just took out Dion's name on the family and has to make me the first placer'.

She was lost in her thought that she did not hear Jeremy's call.

"Sister".

"Oh".

She flinched when Jeremy tapped her shoulder.

"Is everything OK?".

A young handsome boy with black hair and blue eyes looked at Roxanne's red eyes.

"Everything's fine, I'm just happy".

"Well, you deserve it so have fun".

Roxanne smiled at him and patted his head, Jeremy enjoyed that his half sister patted his head.
