"Hmm. Interesting, humans seem to be into working a lot it seems."

"Can I help you?"

"If possible, then I'd like you to help me, Commandant." Qu looked at the man who raised a brow at her, wondering what she needs help with. Even so, he smiled a bit at the Transcendant. Still, yet another enemy that became their ally, ironic isn't it?

Still, he decided to poke fun a bit.

"If it has to do with stealing Lucia's body again then I'm not helping." Commandant chuckled.

"Drat." Qu frowned. "Guess that plan is out of the way."

"W-Wait you're serious?!" That backfired quickly on it. He only sweats, terrified to say the least...

"No, I was simply doing what you humans call, a joke." Qu bluntly told the Commandant, a light smile appeared on her face at the Commandant's shocked face.

"Oh... Phew..." Commandant swiped any sweat off his forehead. Looking at her. "That's good to know..."

"..." Qu closed her eyes as she calmly focused.

Commandant looks at her, admiring her beauty. Of course, he would never say that haha. But still, it is true, she like everyone else is beautiful, beyond the normal standards.

"So what is it that you need help with?" He decided to ask her.

"... I suppose I wish to learn more about your species." Qu said.

"Hmm? Why?"

"... Perhaps, it's because of you Commandant. I guess you can say, you've caused me to question the human species. And why do they pursue to make a change in an already broken world?"

"Ah, so this is because of defying huh and beating you huh?"

"Frankly... After my defeat, I question why you humans... And even why those constructs help you. It does not make sense to me." Qu frowned. "Why would combat cyborgs, that have human consciousness, willingly wish to help humans? Especially, those who have helped you?"

"... A bond?" Qu blinked. "I'm sorry... I do not quite understand what you mean by bond. Surely it isn't that simple."

"It's very simple really... A bond is a relationship formed by two people, or especially, more than one person. It doesn't matter who you bond with, human, animal, cyborg alike... Bonds connect people close together, a bond is what helps us get the strength to fight, and see a better day... It's love, affection, those things don't have to be romantic, you can call it platonic..." Everyone suddenly felt a ping in their chest.

"It's not just me in general that continues pushing. It's all of us."

"All of you...?! Blasphemy. It's impossible that such humans are that ignorant and naive that the world can change."
