"Kurono tried. And they failed." Celica sighed. "Honestly, what were they thinking? I don't think the upper-up was tasked with doing such a thing. It's clear that they did it without telling their own upper-up about it as well."

"Clearly they got impatient." Asimov said with a frown. "The Commandant woke up not long ago and after a few questions. It seems like what they did was not only a lie but also took him against his will."

"How is the Commandant?" Celica asked with a frown.

"He didn't take it lightly after being told what happened." Asimov closed his eyes as he remained calm. "It seems like he's remaining quiet for now. The fact that he's become a target to be taken away, is an example of Kurono just now. He's exhausted at the thought that they overstepped their boundaries. After all, you must remember what happened when the Commandant made contact with the Ascendant Luna first. And how he was speculated to acquaint himself with the Ascendant Network."

Celica frowned at the words but sighed tiredly. "Let's hope another situation like this doesn't happen. If it were, do you have any idea how much destruction will happen?"

"Don't get me started at the probability." Asimov tiredly rolled his eyes. "Currently everyone is doing their best to restrain themselves from clawing out at Kurono. We may have a partnership of sorts with them, but that doesn't stop the fact that they're suspicious in their own way. If another incident were to happen, then not even we can control what the Constructs will do. Just troublesome..."

"You act as if you yourself aren't holding yourself back." Celica giggled.

"And you're not?" Asimov raised a brow.

"Oh trust me, I've never felt so much rage spiraling in my being." Celica's eyes dilated.

"Oh man, talk about trouble."

"Wanshi...?" The Commandant looked at the source of the voice as he turned to look at the Construct who was sitting on a chair with a neutral expression. "Any particular reason you're here?"

"I was tasked to look over you while you're here in the emergency room."

"..." The Commandant couldn't help but sigh as he stared at the ceiling, laying down on the hospital bed. "Those guys really love pushing my buttons..." He said with slight irritation.

"Hmph. They love pushing ours as well." Wanshi said with a light snort. "It was stated that it'd be best to keep you here for a while. I don't know why even though you're fine, but let's just say that it's a precaution for your safety."

"For once I don't mind the overprotective nature of whoever asked for me to remain here." The Commandant said with a smile. "Even so, I'm just glad to still be here. I was quite scared I'll tell you that."

"Scared?"

"If I were taken away, I really wouldn't be able to see none of you guys ever again." The Commandant closed his eyes as he yawned tiredly. "They said it themselves that I'm dubbed a traitor in their eyes. They said I'll be monitored. How much mental exhaustion will I feel being with them? It was exhausting enough when they began monitoring me back when what happened with the Luna incident."

"I remember that..." Wanshi said with a frown. "You looked quite pale and worn out."

"That's what happens when you're being turned into a lab rat while they make excuses about a person's condition when making contact with an Ascendant's M.I.N.D."

"Hmph, seems like you can get angry too it seems."

"Everyone can feel anger. But regardless, I think I'll just take a break and sleep. I feel tired..."
