<Camps>
"So they've entered the camps?"
"Yes, my Lady."Glory Schariac walked a thin, treacherous line. Her power was limited in this region and the Overseer knew it. The aforementioned 'frontlines" had become her cage and she was none the wiser. If she met with the lovebirds that killed her daughter she would be forced to let them go. Schicksal's scapegoat can't fall into their hands. She could only deal with the pair in secret, but what incentive could she offer? What could she do to separate the pair?
"Their disguises?"
"The Holy Maiden is most likely disguised as a nun, with blue eyes and brown hair. The Holy Son however we don't have a clear picture. Green eyes but as for the hair, we believe it's either black or brown. He could be disguised as a priest or a soldier."
"Scour the camps, start with the mines then shift to the quarry."
"As you command my lady."
The tracer of the Schariac family left. The tent. Glory wracked her mind to find a solution to her plight. The Holy Son and Holy Maiden should have gone around the blasted camps. That way it would be easier for them to escape. They were fools, did they see themselves as heroes? Capable of shifting the tides? No, perhaps the Holy Maiden was one such fool but the Holy Son was cunning and devious. Perhaps he figured out her objective. He visited Cologne and seen the situation between the church and the Schariac family. He knew how important Eleanor was to the Schariac family. Perhaps he let them discover his camp.
Glory Schariac gave Otto much more credit than he deserved. He was the villain in her mind, he wished to hate him so she magnified the qualities that she perceived as evil. Malice blinded her, like the fools that highlight the worst qualities of a character and ignore all the traits that truly embody the character. Whether it would be to ridicule their brilliance or to enhance their despicable nature.
'I need to establish a means of contact, a trap but will the Holy Maiden flee after he's captured? It might be better if I killed her. Though her body can still be used by the church. It's also best not to make enemies with the Kaslana house.'
Whatever plans Glory thought up, to capture Otto and release Kallen, were crushed by the entrance of a nun.
"Greetings, Lady Schariac. I hope I'm not being too intrusive."
Glory stopped her pacing within her tent, surprised by the sudden presence of the Third.
"What is it?"
"Nothing particularly important, your son, he's escaped our clutches."
"That hardly matters to the church, don't waste my time."
"I have other news, it's time to finish what you came here for."
"You don't mean."
"A priest and a nun have entered the camp. One of my people has died tailing them.""So you lost them? How are your people so incompetent?"
"My apologies, I underestimated them but I will dispatch the Sixth. We'll have them soon. Be ready to apprehend the traitor."
The Third's intentions could only be gleaned through her words. Her body gave nothing away. She was like a doll, a puppet with no master. Glory excelled at striking the weak points of a person. Assessing them was second nature, that's why she was most on edge around the Third. She had no visible weaknesses.
"I'll stand by, but the Hound however stays on its leash. We both know how predictable she can be. How impulsive she is, leave it to my men, to follow their tracks. You're running low after all."
