today i'm babysitting a new family, amelia my best friend recommended me to them so i'm heading there right now but first a quick coffee run.

i go to the drive thru and tell my order then go to the next window to pay then go the next one and grab my coffee. i thank the worker and leave, thank god today it wasn't a long line.

i turn right to the neighborhood then see the house, i park my car and go out. i knock on the door and a woman opens the door, guessing she's the mom.

anne- hi i'm anne please come in

i go Inside and smile

y/n- you're house is beautiful
anne- thank you! amelia told me that you have experience right?
y/n- yeah yeah uuum i have younger siblings so yeah
anne- that's nice...ok abby she's 2 years old, she can walk but she's reckless so be careful she doesn't like hit somewhere

i chuckle

y/n- ok anything else?
anne- uuum she has to be in bed by 8:00 pm, if she gets fussy just put on peppa pig also she's shy at first but she will warm up to you quickly
y/n- ok oh umm food?
anne- mac n cheese is her favourite so mac n cheese with bacon and cut her some fruit
y/n- ok thank you

she smiles

anne- thank you honestly please feel at home also you can sleep in the guest bedroom if you feel tired
y/n- thank you
anne- ok abby is in the living room come with me

we go inside and abby is sitting on the couch watching cartoons.

anne picks her up and i wave at her and smile.

anne- ok sweetheart this y/n say hi

she looks away from me and burying her face in her mom's neck.

anne chuckles

anne- told you she's shy

i chuckle and smile

anne- cmon honey say hello

she waves at me but still had her head buried in her mom's neck. i smile and anne puts her down.

anne- just play with her and talk to her and she'll warm up to you

she whispers i laugh

y/n- ok
anne- i'll go finish up and then i'll go also i'll be home around 2:00 AM
y/n- no problem

she smiles and goes upstairs to finish getting ready.

i sit next to abby and try talking to her.

y/n- who's your favourite character?
abby- webecca wabbit

awwee her voice is so cutee

y/n- do you want to go for a swim later?

she nods

anne comes down and smiles

y/n- you look stunning
anne- thank you

she enters the living room and kisses abby's forehead

anne- if you're hungry there's pizza money on the kitchen island...again thank you y/n
y/n- no problem. have fun!

she smiles and leaves

abby is not the type of kid who cries when they're parents leave. thank god!
