jacob- how does avery know about me?
y/n- i showed her pictures...i can't leave the kid curious.
jacob- what did you tell her since i wasn't there?
y/n- that you lived in another country doing important business and that you wouldn't be coming back for a long time
jacob- you could really fuck her up with that dumb excuse
y/n- well i couldn't say that her dad didn't want her can i? i couldn't say that her dad was an asshole and a piece of shit cause he decided to leave us

i snap at him

jacob- i made a mistake ok? i was dumb and just wasn't ready. but i changed...and i want to be in avery's life

i shake my head and laugh

y/n- you think it's that easy? you leave me and your daughter. you lose 4 years of her life and then poof! you decide "i wanna meet my kid!".

i chuckle

y/n-jacob sweetheart it's not that easy. i raised her all by myself sure my parents helped but most of it was me! i did everything by myself and you weren't there!

i point at him

jacob- y/n-
y/n- shut the fuck up i'm not done. you were never there jacob! 4 fucking years! i did this! i raised our daughter! 4 years and you didn't even think of seeing us you just ignored us!
jacob- y/n you don't know what you're saying...i wanted to see you. that day you left i was broken! i think about you everyday...i think about my kid every fucking day-
y/n- why didn't you look for us then?
jacob- cause i was scared of your reaction! i knew you wouldn't wanna see me and i kept on thinking "it's probably better like this" then i saw your mom at the grocery store holding a little girl's hand. i saw her and it broke me...seeing her. i never got to hold my little girl in my arms.

jacob- please y/n...i may not get you back but i wanna be there for my little girl.
y/n- wait wait...you may not get ME back? what do you mean.
jacob- i told you before...that i love you but didn't want a child.

he gets closer to me

jacob- i never stopped loving you babe.

i was about to leave the room to go get avery from upstairs but jacob grabbed my wrist and pulls into a hug.

i crash on his chest and he wraps him big arms around me.

jacob- y/n i want us to be a family. i wanna fix this, i swear on my life i won't let you or avery go. not again...

i slowly push him away.

y/n- i have to think jacob...

he nods

y/n- and if it's ok with you...i will drop avery at your place. i have work i usually leave her at my parents but you can have her tomorrow for a day

his face instantly lit up

jacob- yes! i will take her!

i nod and go upstairs to take avery.

mom- all good?
y/n- yeah i guess

i pick avery up

dad- are you ok honey?
y/n- yeah thanks mom...thanks dad
