camp counselor- ok i want girls on the right and boys on the left

i go on the right with the rest of the girls and then grab our stuff.

camp counselor- girls your cabins are number 19,20 and 21...and boys. cabins 22,23,24

i go to cabin 21 with my best friend and put our stuff on the bed.

audrey- can't wait to leave this place can't believe our parents sent us here just so they can "escape" us

she does quotation marks with her fingers.

y/n- i mean there are cute boys
audrey- i guess anyways let's go?
y/n- yeah

we go out and my eye catches a boy, brown hair...he seems really goofy.

audrey- girl cmon let's go

we make eye contact and he smiles, i smile back before audrey pulled me.

y/n- audrey! where are we even going?
audrey- canoeing cmon it's gonna be fun!

we run to the lake and we put on our life jackets and get in the canoe with some other kids. then i see the boy going inside in the other canoe with his friends and the competition starts.

camp counselor- who ever gets that red flag first wins...3...2...1...GO!

we start and we were all laughing and yelling to go faster. in the end the other team won.

we go back and the boy approaches me.

dylan- hi i'm dylan
y/n- y/n

i smile and we shake hands

dylan- nice to meet you...uuum do you guys wanna join us? we're gonna go do the obstacle course on the water
y/n- definitely! sounds fun!

we laugh

dylan- see you

i smile and we go to our cabin to change into our swimsuits.

-end of the day-

campfire we'll have this every night, i sit next to dylan and we were all singing songs and roasting marshmallows.

camp counselor- ok kids go to bed cause tomorrow we will go... ZIP LINING!

we all cheer in excitement

dylan- wanna be my partner tomorrow?
y/n- sure

audrey is going with dylan's best friend so it's ok if i go with dylan.

-end of camp-

i hug dylan

dylan- i'll miss you guys so much
y/n- same hopefully we'll see each other again
dylan- yes!

we laugh and we hug one more time and go in the buses we had to be in.

-3 years later-

mom- y/n! you have a letter!

i run downstairs and grab the letter.

it's from my camp 3 years ago...i went there when i was 16.

i open it and read it.

let's see..."it's been 3 years since the last time our camp was alive! we invite you to a reunion with your old camp friends full of music and memories from your childhood! 23rd of july...
