the snowman

JANUARY 8TH 1994

We sat down after pulling all our trunks up the castle and into the trunk hall we walked to the great hall and sat down after 2 minutes everyone had settled down Dumbledore gave us a speech about safety and boundaries

"we all know the forest is a no go and I want to reinforce this rule do not go in the forest unless accompanied by an adult!"

the food appeared and we ate like champions we were so hungry from sitting in the train all day and pulling the trucks up the stairs we couldn't wait to eat

ginny asked me how my vacation went and I told her everything except the whole killing spree thing that is something I don't talk about

"it was okay I mean how okay it can be with my parents around you know but not awful"

at around 7.30 we were led up to our dorms to unpack chat and go to sleep I unpacked all of my stuff and went down to the common room to talk with hermione ginny and luna who were sitting on one of the big maroon couches I walked over and sat down on the couch next to luna

she leaned over and gently put her hand on my cheek turning my face to hers and kissing my lips gently and asked me if I had seen Neville I said I haven't seen him since dinner he was on the train though so he has to be somewhere

I yawned and stood up to go to bed luna also stood up and asked if it was okay for her to sleep in my dorm because you aren't allowed to walk through the castle after curfew i agreed and we walked up the stairs into my dorm We cuddled up on my bed together and fell asleep after a few more kisses

when I woke up there was snow everywhere I looked out my window and saw George and Fred building a snowman I woke luna up we walked down the stairs to the common room and down to the great hall it was too early for breakfast so we grabbed our robes and went outside

we ran to Fred and George who had already started gathering snow we ran around gathering snow for at least half an hour and built a huge snowman luna brought all the stuff for it and I put my scarf around its neck when the breakfast bell rang and we pelted back inside

but before we walked away Fred enchanted the snowman to dance and throw snowballs at people
Professor snape had to come out to remove the spell and got hit in the face with a snowball we laughed as hard as we could and we didn't get detention because he couldn't hear us thankfully we decided to warm up in the great hall and have some breakfast I sat down and grabbed some cereal

the great hall slowly filled up I heard hermione gasp I got scared I quickly looked up and saw harry walking in to the great hall in a skirt everyone was looking at him he sat down and just acted like nothing happened I complemented him on his outfit and also just pretended like nothing happened some people where still looking at him but he didn't care and through the window I saw professor snape still struggling with the snowman now covered in snow I laughed and finished my breakfast
