Elio POV

We arrived back in Pasio moments later and I yawned, travelling is fun, but also tires me out. Brendan chuckled, "You didn't even play today and you're worn out?" I smiled weakly, "Yeah. Real sleepy." Brendan sighed, "Man. I kinda feel similar. Something about travelling is exhausting. But remember, we're back at it tomorrow." I laughed, "Oh trust me, I wont forget." I groggily walked back, and in front of our apartment was none other than Lillie. Oh, she probably had a dream again. She saw me and smiled, "Hi Elio! Hi Brendan, you guys did great today- well the team did I suppose." We both thanked her then she looked at me, "Hey Elio, I've been pretty lonely here recently, so I wanted to let you know I'm coming with you guys, I don't even need to watch the games in the stadiums, I'm completely fine with sitting outside all day and waiting if it'll kill this feeling." I smiled, "I'm so happy to hear that! We'll have a great time! When we finally get free time to see each other during that time anyway." Lillie giggled, "Yeah. Welp, I'll see you guys tomorrow morning then. Get some good rest!" I yelled back as she was leaving, "Love you!" I heard her faintly return then walked inside and tucked myself in to bed. Undella Tech is up next, and we've got a lot more to prove.

Calem POV

I decided to take an over night flight to make the rather long trip to Alola for this Sweet Sixteen game, so I got some good rest, and now I'm here! Good memories of this place, winning a conference championship with the team. Yeah. Fun times. It's pretty early here now, so the teams won't even arrive for another 5 hours or so. I'll get to see Pasio's boat come in and surprise the team there. I think they'll be happy to see me. Serena told me she'd be making the trip here as well. So all around this should be a really enjoyable day. Can't wait to see all my friends dominate on the field just like we used to.

Brendan POV

I smiled and walked on board the team boat. Moving from the Sweet Sixteen to the QuarterFinals really makes the championship seem that much closer, so that's what we want to do today. The boat began moving slowly over the water as we began the hours long trip to Alola. Everyone was on the boat as always, but Lillie and Serena are also making the voyage with us today. This is a lot of fun, having the whole group together really gives me the energy to believe that we can win this second championship. The boat continued to sail and I sat down by May, "Feeling good about today? I don't think I got to tell you just how fantastic you were yesterday." May smiled, "Well thanks! Yeah, I'd be lying if it didn't go to my head a little bit... I sorta feel like I could beat anyone!" I smiled, "That's not prideful, it's true! You play for the best college team in the world, and you can prove it any time you have to!" May giggled, "Aw Brendan that's so sw-" we were interrupted by a harsh rumbling.

Elio POV

Lillie awoke from the nap she was taking on my lap as the boat rocked with fury. Something's wrong. The sea is not calm right now, and storm clouds are surrounding us. We're about 2/3rds of the way to Alola, so we're just about as stranded as we could be. Why is this happening? The forecast was clear as day, and there are rarely storms near Alolan waters anyway. I stood up and Lillie looked up at me, "What's going on?" I shook my head, "Don't know." I ran to the bow of the boat and scanned the water as the waves began to kick up and become rough and choppy. Brendan and May walked out beside me, May yelled through the strong rain, "ELIO! I THINK I KNOW WHATS HAPPENING- AND IF I DO- ITS NOT GOOD!" I turned back, "What!" Brendan pointed forward, "PRIMAL KYOGRE!"

I turned back around and the water parted ahead of us to reveal the massive legendary Pokemon Kyogre in his "primal" form. Brendan told me about how he and May had to enlist Rayquaza to stop it's rampage in Hoenn years and years ago. Now, I don't think Rayquaza is reachable. The Primal Kyogre roared loudly and began to fire up a beam of water that it shot menacingly in to the sky. I turned back to May and Brendan, "What do we do!?" May panicked and began to think quickly, "I- I don't know! I can't summon Rayquaza, and there's no land in miles! We can't fight it..." I looked at Brendan, "Can we fight it?" Brendan shook his head, "I don't think we'd win." I looked at him in the eyes, "Do we have any other options?" Brendan stared at the floor of the boat before meeting my gaze, "No. No we don't." I released Primarina, "Go back inside, grab anyone that can fly or swim, we're going out there. It's only a matter of time until it sinks us!" He nodded and May went with him, she turned back, "What are you going to do in the meantime?" I looked back at her, "Strategize. Give me a moment."
