Chapter 36
Wishes
Hayley called Andrea the next day, telling her that she had managed to win the crescents over. But Hayley and Jackson were going ahead with the unification ritual. And worst of all, Andrea would have to do it.
In a moment of carelessness, she had handed her whole pack away to Hayley and Jackson.
It had all been for nothing.
The bloodshed, the pain, the massacre, the slaughter, of her whole pack, and she handed it over like nothing.
There was only one person, who had ever known how to deal with those kinds of things.
"Dad" she muttered.
Rebekah entered the room, a few moments later, looking rather uncertain. "What?" she asked.
"Nothing" Andrea mumbled, shaking off the thought. "I was just thinking, who was that on the phone?" she asked, changing the subject.
"Nik" she declared, smiling. "He's on his way right now, with Hayley, and Elijah."
"They're coming here?" she repeated.
"Yer, is that a problem?" Rebekah asked.
"No, I just wasn't expecting it" she muttered.

Rebekah started decorating for Christmas, the next day.
Andrea repeatedly told her, it was completely unnecessary but she was persistent that she hadn't had a proper Christmas in years, and she would have one.
Rebekah started to build a fire later that afternoon, while Andrea sat on the porch doting over Hope. It was a rather comical sight. She kept on making faces at the baby as if she would react.
"Is there a reason for the bonfire?" she asked, brushing a strand of hair out of Hope's eyes.
"It's bonfire season" Rebekah declared, teaching as she got up, heading over to them. "And I am riving an old family tradition."
"Really?" Andrea asked.
"Don't mock me" Rebekah chuckled, holding her hand out for Hope to grab. The two laughed as Hope toyed with Rebekah's fingers. It was the purest joy the original had felt in centuries.
"Such simple things, children" Rebekah muttered. "If only I'd known back then, how much joy they could bring me," she said, as Hope hiccuped, making the two laugh.
"Being away with Hope, made me see things differently when it comes to my family" Rebekah declared. "Were not so bad, not the monsters that our parents think we are" she leant closer, laying a kiss on Hope's hand.
It was at that moment, a car, sped down the track. Klaus, Hayley and Elijah pulled up. Andrea had never seen, Hayley run so fast in her life. She stopped short of her and Hope.
"Come say hello," she said with a gleeful smile on her lips.
Hayley looked down at Hope in awe as she held her small, fragile hand.
Andrea looked over, to see Klaus staring at them. She smiled, walking over to him, and handing him Hope.
His face went from stone cold to delight in seconds. It was a beautiful sight, to see. Hope made a noise, making the two of them laugh, as they cooed over their young daughter.
History could never have foreseen, Klaus Mikaelson in such a position.
Rebekah, Elijah and Hayley just smiled as they continued to laugh, their daughter, in their arms.
