Chapter 24
Her Mother's Daughter
Klaus and Elijah had the gleeful idea of throwing a party, and despite Andrea's doubts and objections, the two were persistent, it would go well.
Without telling them, she asked Jackson Kenner to come and talk to her, before the blood bath began.
In the meantime, she gave herself permission to fester in her room.
She took a sip of her herbal tea, as she stared out the window at the sea of vampires, and wolves, entering the compound. She was almost certain, Klaus would be too distracted but the party to check on her, throughout the night.
At least, she hoped he would be.
Late last night she had a devastating realisation.
Her mother was resurrected through her because she was alive. If complications arose then there might have been a chance her mother wouldn't be the only one ending up dead.
"Andrea" Jackson called out, shutting the door behind himself. He bowed his head, as she turned to look at him but she just gave him a simple nod, of egkolegment. "What is this about?" he asked.
"We have a problem" she sighed, placing the glass down, crossing her arms as she stared at the werewolf.
"I fail to see how this involves me" he declared, raising an eyebrow at her.
"Don't do that," she said, far too calmly for his liking. "My mother killed Bastiana, yesterday. If she dies ... there a chance I will" she confessed.
"Why are you telling me this?" he asked, his eyebrows furrowing in confusion.
"I'm your alpha right" she replied, he nodded in response. "I've done a spell, so if I do go down with my mother, this baby won't" she explained, touching her stomach, subconsciously. "I want you to promise me, as your alpha, that you'll save her."
"I swear," he said.
She nodded more to herself than anyone else, as she grabbed her cup of tea, once again, drinking most of it in one gulp. "You can leave" she murmured.
He went to speak but didn't say a word as he shut the door behind him, leaving her alone, once more.

As expected, Klaus and Elijah's party had fallen to shit.
The vampires tried to kill the wolves, and the wolves tried to kill the vampires. But, Hayley managed to make a valuable point, with the whole pack, walking away alive.
Andrea had to admit, she had proven to be an amazing alpha, in only, the past month.
She decided to head back out the Beau, despite Klaus' objections. At the end of the day, they were her family, and they were her pack.
When she arrived the crunching of leaves caught her off guard, as Hayley sat down, next to her, two glasses in her hand. "That herbal tea your always raving about" she declared, handing her the glass. "I've taken quite a liking to it."
"Cheers," she muttered.
"You alright," she asked, grabbing her hand.
"I have an idea" she declared. "It could end up, turning to absolute and utter shit, or it could make this pack, one of the strongest the world has ever seen."
"What's the plan?" Hayley asked.
She took a sip of her tea, letting a sigh, slip through her lips. "Moonlight rings" she muttered.
