Chapter 40
The Wedding

Andrea and Klaus had decided the marriage had to be done sooner rather than later before the attacks on her pack got worse and Hope was put in even more danger.

However, Rebekah was persistent that she would help her buy a dress.

"Camille darling, I would love to chit chat but I'm currently on my way to buy a wedding dress" she declared, as Rebekah opened the door to the first dress shop.

"Andrea, the house blew up and me and Hope are on the run, with Elijah" she rambled.

"Wait what?" she asked, stopping in her tracks. "Where are you?"

"California I think" Cami stammered.

"Cami, I love your terrible sense of direction," she said, smiling to herself. "Go to the backstreets quarter as the locals call it, also known as the California backstreets," she said, grinning to herself.

"The what?" Cami asked.

"The town I built from the ground up," she said, grinning. "My friends running it these days, she'll help, I'll give her a call. I'll send you the address" she promised.

"What was that about?" Rebekah asked as she hung up.

"Cami and Elijah are on the run with Hope, so I sent them to the witch backstreet I used to run" Andrea explained as they headed up to the front desk.

"How can I help you two?" the Lady asked.

"My lovely soon-to-be sister-in-law is getting married today, so we need to best dress you can find," Rebekah said.

"Even, the ones you don't sell" Andrea compelled.

"You've got the hang of this vampire business" Rebekah smiled.

Andrea shrugged as they followed the woman into the shop.

"Well, your lucky because I happen to be the only woman alive who has commissioned wedding dresses in five different centuries," Rebekah said, making Andrea laugh as she looked through the dresses.

"Well, I trust your knowledge in that case" Andrea smiled. "How much is this one?" Andrea asked, pointing at the dress in the window.

It had a built-in corset, the straps were intricately laced, with similar patterns of flowers and other plants, sewn. The train was the longest thing she had ever seen, but the small glimmering sequins that were also manipulated into flowers stole her heart, almost instantly.

"26,400 Miss" the Lady replied. "Hand-made, Miss."

"I want to try it," she said, turning around the woman. "Go close the shop and get it for me" she compelled.

Rebekah laughed as the two of them sat down on the sofa. "You've always been one of us, Andrea" Rebekah declared, grabbing her hand. "A Mikaelson. Always, will be."

"Thank you" Andrea smiled. "We're not paying for this right?"

"No" Rebekah laughed. "It's on Klaus" she winked.

The Lady came back a few minutes later, carrying the dress in her arm and when Andrea put it on, that answer was simple.

Yes.

Rebekah had also persisted that she had to do Andrea's hair for the wedding, much to her disdain but either way, she let her.

The door opened but when Andrea went to turn around, Rebekah grabbed her head, forcing her to look into the mirror.

"Nik! You can't be here!" Rebekah exclaimed going to push him out of the room but he refused to move.
