The Curse

Magkahawak kamay kaming nakaupo ngayon ni Xether sa bench. Kapwa kaming tahimik na nakamasid sa senaryong nasa aming harapan. Ako lang pala, dahil naka blindfold parin si Xether.

Gusto niyang tanggalin ang blindfold tulad ng nakasanayan niyang ginagawa everytime na magkasama kami, pero binawalan ko siya.

He seems adamant to follow me because his reason, he wanted to look at my face without any hindrance. Buti nalang at sinunod parin niya ako.

Wag muna. Patawad pero takot pa ako sa tsansa na magkalayo tayo.

I heave a sigh and smiled to what I am seeing.

It is truly amazing.

The blooming flowers are gently swayed by the wind. Trees dance alongside the soft breeze. The birds are flying, spreading their wings in a beautiful form. Some of them sing their tune as a background music that compliments to the feeling we wanted to have right now. Peace and quiet. Just the two of us.

Isinandal ko ang aking ulo sa balikat ni Xether. He moved his head sideways slightly and kissed my forehead. I smiled and closed my eyes. He chuckled too.

Xether gently place his head on top of mine. He loosen his hold on my hand and rather play with it.

He spread my hand palm- opened and place it on top of his hand. He lowly chortled. I've opened my eyes to look on our hands. 
"Your hand seems small compared to mine."

I laughed. "Yeah, our hand size difference had a wide gap."

Xether now play with my fingers, gently pinching each. "Your hands look frail. I am afraid it will break if I always hold your hand."

I took my head on his shoulders. "Maliit lang kamay ko pero hindi yan madaling mabali", I gently slapped his shoulders. "Kung takot ka, then don't hold my hand."

He chuckled.

"No. I loved to hold your hand, baby."

I looked away blushing to his endearment on mine. I know he was smiling right now.

"This is your ring finger, right?", he spoke.
I gazed to our hands.

I nodded. "Yeah, it is."

He raised my hand he was holding near his lips. He kissed my ring finger. I got surprise to his sudden move.

"I will put something here...soon."

I gulped.

Inilipat niya ang kanyang ulo paharap sa akin. "I miss seeing your beautiful eyes that capture me. But I understand that it is for safety measures. Pag nasa tago na tayo, can I  look at your eyes?"

I blinked, suppressing the arising negative emotion within me. "Y--yeah. You can", I replied.

He smiled and pulled my hand making me drop closer to him. He kissed me.

I slowly closed my eyes as a tear drop in my cheeks. I would love to met your eyes again, Xether. If it will make you happy at the end, my love.

We decided to go to Hesper's room to check on him. Ang totoo, dapat ako nalang ang babalik sa kwarto ni Hesper pero nagsalita ang isa na ihahatid daw niya ako.

I denied his suggestion at first at baka magkainitan na naman sila ni Hesper. As far as I observed, lagi silang nag aaway pag nakikita. Hindi ko maintindihan kung bakit naging magkaibigan ang dalawang iyon.

Xether continue on his plea and now he was now with me. As we arrived on the hallway, muntik akong matumba dahil sa biglaang pagtakbo ng isang tao sa harapan ko na tila nagmamadali.
