Stopping only to eat, sleep, and go to the spiritual spring, Lan Wangji was very attentive about following the routine for the next week. This was something new but he could feel the effects of it. He was feeling stronger and his spiritual energy was more at ease and seemed to flow through him naturally. On his final day of meditation, his entire body felt cold but the dantian where his core was, started to become hot. Wei Ying called Baoshan in to tell her it's time, she nodded and they both started giving Wangji spiritual energy to level out the temperature of his body. Wangji's core was changing to silver, and he would then achieve immortality.
After his new core finally developed, Baoshan told Wangji to go sit in the spiritual spring and meditate for an hour. He agreed and did as he was told. While meditating, he could feel his new core surging within him. He could see it silver, and he felt pure with yang energy. He had so much potential now with his new achievement. He needed to train now, and his sword, Bichen had increased it's spiritual energy due to Wangji's success. After successfully achieving immortality, Wangji could feel a new rush of power run through him. He was proud and he was able to be there for Wei Ying and help him with a better chance of success.
The two stayed at Celestial mountain for three months so Wangji can fully grasp his new found energy. When he uses is guqin, his cord assassination became much more powerful, Bichen shined brighter, and it's blade was sharper. Wangji could sense the new energy within his sword. Wei Ying taught Lan Zhan some of his personal choreographed sword moves and techniques and Wangji repaid by showing Wei Ying Gusu's sword techniques. They were able to change the everything they knew already when performing with a sword, but then decided to create a whole new dance for the two of them; Mixing Wei Ying's sword dance with Gusu's to create an newfound swordsmanship dance. This also gave the two a reason to finally spar with one another and were now better and more equally matched. When crafting a swordsman's dance, one has to understand the form of the body, the energy of the sword, knowing your personal strengths and then your weaknesses. Also making sure the foot work is steady and precise. Graceful and elegant, but sharp and structured.
Once day, while Wangji was working on his sword techniques, Wei Ying had other plans. He told Lan Zhan he had some inventions that he wanted to try out, so Wangji allowed him to do his thing. Xiao Xingchen and Song Lan decided to work with Wangji as Wei Ying was in his workshop. In Wei Ying's workshop, of course, it is as messy as you may think it may be. Unfinished talisman's scattered on the floor, parchment crumbled and thrown in multiple places. There was even ink stains on the floor from Wei Ying spilling his ink from getting excited over something he crafted.

A weapon Wei Ying had in mind to craft was a new weapon for Lan Zhan. He had ideas about creating something that would be useful for him that would be something also related to Cloud Recesses. So Before he could actually start working he needed something from Lan Zhan himself. He grabbed a pouch he created to hold spiritual energy and went out to the training grounds to meet with him for a moment.
"Lan Zhan!" he called out.
Lan Zhan finished his final movement from one of the sword positions and turned to Wei Ying, "Hm?" He hummed as Wei Ying jogged up to him.
"I know this is a weird ask, but I need you to trust me, and not ask questions as I will explain to you when I am finished," Wei Ying told him.
"What is it?"
Wei Ying held up the pouch and opened it, "Can you cast some spiritual energy into this pouch for me?" Wangji was confused, "Oh, I crafted this pouch to hold spiritual energy. It is useful when I am working on inventions and talisman. I am working on something unique and I was wondering if you can spare some energy for me?"
