Wangji had his head down on the bed beside Wuxian's face while still holding his hand. He was sleeping like that all night, not even caring if he would be sore the next day from sleeping that way. Wuxian had been unconscious now for ten days. Wangji always stayed by his side and tended to his woulds and wipe his body down to clean him. He never lever his side. At this point, he at in the room so he could stay with him.
"Here is his medicine," Baoshan said.
Wangji sat up opening his eyes to look at her and nodded taking it from her hand, "How is he?"
"Still the same," Wangji answered as he carefully tried to open Wuxian's mouth and give him the medicine, but it was not working.
"You may have to try another way," Baoshan told him with a wink and left the room.
Wangji looked at the medicine and then at Wei Ying. He took the medicine in his mouth, and lowered his head to meet Wei Ying's lips. He used his hands to help him hold his mouth open as he carefully let the medicine drop from his mouth and into Wuxian's. After the medicine was delivered he held his lips there for a second longer to take in his cold but soft lips before pulling away. Wangji took his hand and brush his fingers gently across Wuxian's cheek and then moved his hand to the top of his head and lightly scratched the boy's scalp and playing with his hair. His other hand went back to holding Wuxian's.
He then started to hum their song, Wangxian. Wangji hoped that he would wake soon. He was anxiously waiting but he knew he had to be patient. There was suddenly a knock at the door. Wangji turned for a moment to see his brother standing there. His brother actually came to Celestial Mountain. Wangji carefully let go of Wuxian's hand and removed his other hand from his hair so he could go to his brother.
"How is he doing?" Xichen asked.
"He has been unconscious for ten days now," Lan Zhan answered, "It's just a waiting game at this point."
"How are you doing?" He asked Wangji.
Wangji looked at Wuxian and then back to his brother and let tears fall, "Worried," Wangji answered and was pulled into a hug from him. Xichen did what he could to comfort his little brother. He had him go sit with him at the desk so they can talk. Wangji stayed in his brother's arms as he needed comfort from him at the moment. Xichen did not mind either.
"Guangshan and Ruohan are both dead," Xichen finally revealed to Wangji, "Guangshan charged not only for his crime against A'Xian, but he had multiple people come forward about being forced into a night time partner of his at some point. His son Jin Zixuan, took over as Clan Leader, and has announced his engagement to Jiang Yanli from the Yunmeng Jiang Clan. Ruohan, was killed for obvious reasons, being to lost in lust for yin energy and greed for power. Plus numerous people killed by him and the puppets, biggest reason."
Wangji nodded, "Good to hear, it's nice to know that Wei Ying has some justice for his mistreatment," he said, "I don't even know what happened other than the dagger. It was only inches from his heart.....He almost died...and he hasn't woken yet."
Xichen held his brother tighter and closer, "All we can do is hope and wait," Xichen said, "What I am curious about is how Guangshan had that terrible burn on his hand."
"Like I said, since Wei Ying hasn't been awake, we don't know anything," Wangji said.
Xichen nodded as Wangji put his head on his brother's shoulder. Xichen glanced over to Wuxian on the, "Wangji," Xichen said.
"Hmm?" He hummed into his brothers shoulder.
"Look," Xichen pointed.
Wangji sat up and followed his brother's hand gesture. He was pointing to Wuxian as he could see that his fingers were moving and his eyes were open. Wangji bolted out of his brother's arms and carefully made his way over to Wuxian hoping not to frighten him or catch him off guard.
