______________It's been three months since Wei Ying entered Cloud Recesses. His balance in yin and yang energy has been better since the Dire Owl had been taken care of. Wei Ying and Lan Zhan had not really made much progress in terms of their friendship, but their relationship did not decline either. It had remained steady; It was mostly due to Wuxian having decided to give Lan Zhan his space. They had such a rough start in terms of when they first met. The greeting between them was fine, but the misunderstanding is what caused Wuxian to take a step back and think things through about Lan Zhan and him.
Wei Ying was sitting in class and was, for once, paying attention to what Lan Qiren was lecturing. He was talking about Gusu Lan Sect's History, it's founder, Lan An, and achievements, but also what they stand for, righteousness. Sitting there listening to it all seemed interesting enough to keep focus through the lecture period. Every now and again, Wuxian could feel eyes on him. He caught Lan Zhan taking glances at him, but he also noticed that Grandmaster Lan was eyeing Wuxian specifically that day.
Lan Qiren decided to move the lecture on to something different, and test the student's knowledge. Wuxian knew that was Qiren's in to picking at Wuxian's brain. Mischievous and shameless, was Qiren's first thoughts of Wuxian. It was part of Wei Wuxian to have such a free soul because of who raised him, but Wuxian knew that Qiren knew his mother, he wondered of that was a reason to target Wuxian more.
"Wei Wuxian!" Grandmaster Lan called out, "Stand please."
"Here," Wuxian answered and stood up at his desk.
"I want to test your knowledge, as you are to be known as Immortal Sanran's Grandson and Disciple, I feel you could answer a couple questions," Qiren stated. Wuxian only nodded in agreement and allowed Lan Qiren to start his questioning.
"What was the profession of the founder of Qinghe Nie Sect?"
"A Butcher," Wuxian answered.
"The heraldry of the Lanling Jin Sect is a type of flower. What kind of flower and its rightful name?"
"A white peony known as Sparks Amist Snow," Wuxian answered again.
"Who was the first in the cultivator world to focus on his clan instead of his sect?"
"The founder of Qishan Wen Sect, Wen Mao," Wuxian answered. He tried his best to keep his composer as he knew by the look on Qiren's face, he answered them correctly.
"Let me ask you something else," Qiren stated, "Are Yao, Demons, Ghosts, and Monsters the same?"
"No, they are not. Yao are formed from non-human beings; demons are formed from living humans; ghosts are formed from dead humans; and monsters are formed from dead non-human beings."
"Yao and Monsters are often hard to differentiate, tell me how to tell them apart," he continued to prod Wuxian.
"Easy," Wuxian said and pointed at a tree outside the window behind Qiren, "For example, if that tree behind you is tainted by the energy of your principle and it would cultivate into a conscious being, then cause trouble, it would be a Yao. If I took an axe and chopped it half to have half left, a dead trunk and this would cultivate into a being, then it would be a monster."
"As Baoshan's grandson and disciple, you are quite knowledgeable as others say. Let me ask you one more question." Wuxian nodded and tilted his head a bit as if he wanted a better angle of his ears to hear the question properly, "There is an executioner with a wife and children but he has executed more than one hundred people. Now he suddenly dies in public and his body is left alone for seven days with the repressed energy of resentment he started to hunt and kill. What should be done?"
Wuxian already knew the answer. He knew four ways, as he can control resentful energy, but if that was well known, Wuxian would be a threat to others. The only thing he could do was answer the three ways only the sects and clans know.
"There are three steps," He answered, "First release, second suppress, and third eliminate. First you must try to use his family's gratitude and fulfill his last wish, if it fails, suppress it. If the crimes are extremely wrongful and its energy of resentment does not dissipate, exterminate completely. The cultivator world must preserve the order of the measures. No mistake should be allowed."
Qiren was indeed very impressed with this disciple. Even though Qiren had doubts about his personality, Wuxian was indeed very smart for his age, "Correct, not a single mistake is made," Qiren stated and stood up, "Because of Wuxian's knowledge, I am to let the class end early as a treat for all of you. That being said, I expect you all to keep studying outside of class. You never know who I will call on in class."
After Qiren finished his statement, Wuxian was basically the first out of the lecture hall. He was glad to answer those questions but he basically felt as though he had a target on him now. Not for Qiren, but for the other disciples in Cloud Recesses. He was starting to feel suffocated after his three months in Cloud Recesses. He knows he has a lot of months left to complete the study year, but he felt as if the rules were chaining him down to the ground and was unable to move.
Wuxian desired to step out and go to the town for a bit. He wanted to see Xiao Xingchen and Song Lan. He wanted to explore the town, he wanted some company, and most of all, he wanted to drink Emperor's Smile. When he first arrived in Caiyi Town, he was lucky to try it and it was his favorite drink so far.
Wuxian was not hungry and decided to go straight back to the Jingshi. He had no desire to see or speak with others, even though he craved others' company. Wuxian was having a mix of different emotions and did not know what to do about them. He felt trapped and suffocated, but he knows that he is free to do what he wants for the most part. When he entered Jingshi, he sat in a lotus position on his bed and decided to meditate to relax his mind to figure out why his mind was so crowded with emotions.
He had so much on his mind, and these things didn't need to be. He wanted comfort and to be back with his family at Celestial Mountain. He wanted to be closer to Lan Wangji. He had this odd inner desire of wanting to be beside him all the time; Taking in his beauty, and inhaling the soothing aroma of sandalwood that stuck to Wangji's body. Wuxian had a desire to touch his skin, feel its softness, and stare into his golden eyes.
He was now finally understanding, he wanted to be more than friends with Wangji. Wuxian had never thought that he would be into a man, but he didn't know if he had any desirable things to expect from a woman either, but the moment Lan Zhan and Wuxian met, Wuxian knew that Lan Zhan was someone important to him. As his thoughts continued to drift to Lan Zhan's features, he remembered the comfort of Lan Zhan's voice. He could melt into Lan Zhan's arms if Lan Zhan spoke the right words to him.
The lust was now getting to be too much for Wuxian that it took him out of his meditation. He quickly got up and searched around the Jingshi to see if he was alone. Once he knew he was, he laid down on his bed and began to feel himself. Wuxian had pleasured himself in the past but he just wanted to know the feeling, but now he had a lustful desire for someone and he couldn't hold back from relieving himself.
Wuxian pulled his member out from his undergarments and started to slowly use his hand for pleasure. As his hand moved up and down on his growth, Wuxian's thoughts began to wander. He began to imagine Wangji being the one to help him release his pleasure. His large hand rubbed on him; Just when his mind couldn't roam any further south, he began to wander what felt like to be in his mouth, having his warm mouth pleasuring him and taking in his length. With that final thought of himself deep in Lan Zhan's throat, he reached his climax.
Wuxian took in a deep and relaxing breath. His mind slowly came back to his senses as he put himself away back in his undergarments and cleaned himself up. Once he was fully cleaned, he laid there on his bed for a good while before dozing off to sleep to take a nice nap.
