Chapter 50

"Mama!" Diana gushed as she ran towards me.

"Baby!" I gushed as I picked her up and squished her cheeks with kissed. "Hast du mich vermisst?"

It was already third week of October. Na delay nang na delay ang uwi ko sa Pilipinas dahil busy na rin ako sa trabaho. Like what Sage and I talked about, I promised to be back for like 2-3 weeks then going back to Basel after staying for a few days. After all, alam na rin naman ni Dr. Watson ang tungkol kay Andi. She's really considerate to me. Although I can manipulate my own schedule, but that would be really unprofessional.

"Ja," she smiles. "Where's my chocolate?"

"Not too much sweets ha?" I reminded her. "Tone down your sweets, baby."

"How's the flight?" Levi asked.

I smiled. "Ayos lang. Hindi naman ako masyadong pagod. Ang haba ng tulog ko sa biyahe."

Surprisingly, it was Levi who picked me up. Supposedly, it was Leon, but right now, they're currently at St. Mary Magdalene since Celine is currently laboring. And if you're wondering how did Diana ended up with Levi is because, they're all with them at the hospital.

Si Sage naman, he's been out of the country three days ago kaya doon muna si Andi kila Leon. There are times that he needed to leave kaya doon niya na lang iniiwan. Gustong-gusto naman ni Andi na iniiwan doon dahil may friends daw siya.

I still can't believe that Leon and Sage can be close. Parang nung nakaraan lang pinagseselosan niya si Leon. Crazy, innit?

Kaya kahit na kararating ko lang, sa ospital agad ang diretso ko.

Pagdating namin sa ospital, we went in front of the delivery room to meet everyone as we wait.

"How long is she laboring?" I asked.

"15 hours," sagot ni Tita Maricel. I instantly cringed. Ang tagal. When I gave birth to Diana, I was laboring for 11 hours. I went to her and kissed her cheek. "How are you, hija?"

"I'm good," I smiled.

"Kauuwi mo lang galing ng Switzerland?"

I nodded. "Opo."

"Mukhang pagod ka sa biyahe," sabi pa niya.

I shook my head. "Hindi po, Tita. Mahaba rin po yung tulog ko."

"Pabantayan muna si Diana ha?" I told Levi as he nodded. I went inside the delivery room as I rushed to the gallery so I can watch her. I saw Leon on the side, holding his wife's hand.

The silence ended as it was replaced and filled with the baby's loud cries that surely will reach outside.

Oh my goodness! It's a boy!

"He's so beautiful," I said as I turned on the microphone.

"Ay baby, yung ninang nandito," I heard Dra. Valencia said. "Ninang, baby number two, baka naman?"

"Sira," I laughed at her. "I'll see you outside."

Naglakad na ako paalis ng gallery saka lumabas ng DR. I looked at them and smiled. Kita ko na nandoon na rin si Grace at buhat yung isa. Habang si Levi, buhat din yung isa.

"Nanganak na si Celine," I told them as they all gushed.

"Ano yung bata?" tanong ni Tita Maricel.

"I think, it's the best if you should know from the doctor," sabi ko saka ngumiti.

Maya-maya pa ay lumabas na yung doctor at siya na yung nagsabi ng balita.

"So, it's a safe delivery," Dra. Valencia announced. "I also got the permission from the baby's father that the newly born baby is a boy. Congratulations!"
