Isang linggo after nung aksidente ay nag organize si Leon ng pool party para na rin sa mga bata. I brought Diana since Aira decided to stay at the house to review. I told her not to pressure herself too much dahil sa November pa naman ang exam. Kagabi nga lang ay tinulungan ko siya magreview. She should rest now.
"Andi, let's swim!" Leo called as he started to pull Andi with him.
"Wait, I'll change!" Andi said. "Mama!"
"Okay," I told her as I took off her leggings. She's wearing her pink rushed off shoulder top bikini top and its bottom. I took her leggings off as she started running with Leo. "Wait. Andi, deine Floaters."
"Sexy naman ng baby na 'yan," Malia teased my daughter as she chased her as Diana giggles.
I went to the back to see the kids, having fun in the pool. Sila Adrian at Justin ay busy mag ihaw ng liempo.
"Rain, rain, go away!" Diana sang as she played with the hose, attacking Leon. Natawa ako lalo na sa itsura ni Leon. "Uncle, join us!"
"Daddy!" Leo called his father. Kita ko pa yung dalawa na hawak yung hose habang inaasinta si Leon.
"Oh, ayan, pinaliligo ka na ng inaanak at anak mo," sabi ko kay Leon na ngayon ay inaasikaso si Celine. "Naliligo ka ba?"
"Ang baho nga, Ate, eh," ngumiwi si Celine sa asawa.
"Anong-" aalma pa sana si Leon.
"Totoo naman ah?" Celine fires back. Hindi siya nakapagsalita. Natawa na lang ako dahil mukhang ligaw na tuta si Leon.
"Rain, rain, go away!" Leo and Diana sang together habang binabasa si Leon. Tawa naman kami ng tawa ni Celine.
"Kayong dalawa ha!" Leon gushed as he took off his wet shirt, since Leo and Diana splashed him some water.
"Der Hai!" Diana shouts in German as she gripped on Leo's arm as they swam on the pool. After trying to get away from Leon, nahuli niya rin yung dalawang bata saka sila kiniliti.
"Addie, kain ka na," ani Justin. I watched him give some barbeque to his wife before lending some to me. I was about to take a big bite when my phone suddenly rang.
"Excuse me," I mumbled as the both of them nod and distanced myself to answer the call.
"Good afternoon, Doctora," I heard the resident who called me. It was not Gelo this time, it's Alicia. "Uh, it's urgent po. Prof. Soriano asked for you."
"Why?" I asked. "It's my day-off."
"Pasensya na po, Doc. Napagutusan lang eh."
I sighed. "Okay, I'll be there."
I put my phone inside my pocket of my shorts. Luckily, my shorts isn't that short. Actually, there's a matching coat with this one, kaso nasa bahay lang.
"Who called?" Justin asked.
"It's a resident," I sighed. "Justin, pakibantayan si Diana ha? I'll try to be back as early as I could."
Tumango naman ito.
I went closer to Diana as she's now sitting with Leon, eating the pork that Justin grilled.
"Mama, have some!" Diana held up her pork as she lend it towards me. Kumagat ako doon saka siya agad na kumagat pagtapos ko. "How is it, Mama?"
I nodded and gave her a thumbs up.
"It's delicious, mein schatz," I told her as I tousled her wet hair. "Baby, Mama will leave for a while, okay? You behave with Aunties and Uncles."
"Okay," she said. "Where are you going, Mama?"
