Nie Huaisang watched as Wei Yuan and Wei Ying began to bond. It made him smile and hold Yu Bin's hand a little tighter. His attention was pulled though. He found himself watching the other watcher, Yu Qing. She had quietly woken and was watching everyone. Her gaze however strayed to Jiang Cheng often. Nie Huaisang covered his smile with his fan. Things were definitely getting interesting... however, if Jiang Cheng was about to leave, there were things that must be addressed.

With everyone focused on the other bed and its occupants, Nie Huaisang blatantly stole a kiss from Yu Bin who not only kissed back but gave him a cheeky grin before he yawned.

"Tired, A'Bin?" he asked tenderly.

"Hungry. After I eat though, a nap sounds good." A'Bin smiled at him. Nie Huaisang would never get over the innocence of that smile. Regretfully, he straightened then turned.

"Gentlemen, I'm sorry to interrupt but with Jiang Cheng leaving, we need to discuss a few things. Perhaps the hall would be the best location?" Nie Huaisang suggested.

Jiang Cheng nodded and headed for the door after a quick ruffle of A'Yuan's hair. It got him a very small smile but it was a smile.

"Mn." answered Lan Wangji. "I'll be back in a moment." He patted Wei Ying's hand and got up to follow the other two police officers.

When the door had closed, Nie Huaisang began to speak. "Nie Mingjue believes there will be an attempt on Wei Ying, Wei Yuan and Yu Bin. I believe he is correct. I would like one of us to be present at all times in their room. I would also prefer if we were armed."

A thoughtful pause. "I have to over see the arrest of Yu ZiYuan. I also want to be present during the execution of the search warrant. While I can't be involved directly in the collecting of evidence, I can show them places to search that may not be immediately obvious. That will take up a large portion of the day. I will try to be back by early evening and will keep in contact via text. Is that acceptable?" Jiang Cheng was all business again. It was the only way he could approach the events that were coming.

"I need clothing and my weapon from my home. I do not know how well Wei Ying will take my absence." Lan Wangji glanced between the two men.

"Hmmm. Jiang Cheng when do the guard shifts begin to arrive?" Nie Huaisang asked.

Jiang Cheng checked his watch. "In twelve minutes. Six o'clock. Two for the door and two for perimeter in staggered four hour shifts. There will always be four officers on duty. Inform me if there are any problems. Let's just say I sent a group text last night. There should be no repeats of yesterday's idiocy."

He looked at Nie Huaisang. "Have the pass books arrived?"

"They should be here shortly. Charlie is dropping them off. With Jiang Yanli here, the police on guard and one of us in the room all day, do you think Wei Ying could handle you leaving long enough to get a few days worth of clothing and your weapon?" Nie Huaisang questioned.

"I will ask him." was the simple reply.

"My things are being brought by my brother so I will remain today. We also have to find time to sleep. No sleep last night will reduce our response time. Not good. Second, I would like only Lan Xichen or Yu Qing to administer meds. I think that may be the easiest way to try to take out Wei Ying and Yu Bin. Give them the wrong medication. I also want a code word if someone NOT in the pass book tries to enter. I want them. They will have been hired by Wen Chao's people or his backers. Given the right persuasion, they could be a font of information. Agreed?"

"It will frighten Wei Ying and A'Yuan." Lan Wangji stated with a furrowed brow.

"Most likely but it's also our best bet to get additional information on future attempts." Nie Huaisang smiled at Lan Wangji. "Don't take too long getting your things, please. You are much more adept at dealing with physical altercations."
