This isn't how it should be.

SYN POV

the sun was setting, and I laid in the sheets. I'd made sure to lay towels down on the mattress, as the very idea of touching the same fabric with Elias' fuckmates stains on it made me gag.

My breathing was shallow, and I closed my eyes. The silence, it was so quite. It sounded like there wasn't a soul around. It was so— "Mrs.Volkan." A man growled as he slammed open the door, the handle slamming back into the wall and leaving an indent on the drywall. His voice was acidic, and I opened my eyes for just a moment.

I'd never seen him before. He was Tall. Dark. Blond hair.

"I've been instructed to bring you to Mr.Volkan." He said, looking down the hallway in which he came. His body tense.

"Shh, not now. Mommas sleeping." I said, shooing him away and snuggling deeper into the sheets. Not before noticing the gun in his hand. "And that's not my name." I finished.

I sensed him walk up to me, the sheets torn off of me I opened my eyes.

"seriously fuck off." I said, sitting up onto my elbows in reflex. My eyebrows squinting and face contorting in rage.

And in an instant, he grabbed me by the throat, and pulled me to a stand beside him. My feet dangling on the floor.

"Stop!" I hissed, as I began clawing at his skin. Ripping. Panic setting in. Panic.

My nails ripped the flesh of his arm until the scent of iron filled my nose.

I thrashed against him, as he pulled me hard against his body. Flush against Him. I kicked my legs up, screaming. My free hand is reached for the curtain for leverage, but it came unhooked from the rail and fell to the ground. I'd kicked over the bedside table, the drawn blood from his arm that now dropped onto the floor.

"Shut it!" He demanded, His hand forcing my jaw shit while his other dug fiercely into his pocket, not a moment later, a sharp sting in my neck made me gasp.

The sensation of weakness filtered my body. I ached. I tried to fight out of his arms as he pulled me against his front tighter, but my attempts began lifeless as I began to sink into his grip.

No. No this...What is this?

"Elias!" I even dared to say his name. Like he was someone just close enough. Despite not knowing if this was being done in his name.

"He can't help you." He told me, as he began dragging me from the room.

With my numbing body, he picked me up like a rag doll.

The world spun like I was looking thought a kaleidoscope, and I begged myself not to close my eyes. Not to let this happen.

But the numbness started in my arms, and legs, and just spread until I couldn't move. Couldn't speak. I wasn't even sure I was breathing in a steady rhythm.

My eyes searched desperately, as his hands held me as he walked up through sets of doors and hallways, until we were met with the chilling coldness of the midnight air.

Headlights shining at us, I wanted to scream. To fight. God knows I wanted to fight.

But nothing looked as it should. Everything was too bright. Too...gone.

It felt as if my body no longer listened to the demand of my head, as my eyes became heavier. And the idea of sleep was crushing every other thought imaginable.

I searched for someone. Anyone.

But the darkness headed no solution and no rectification. I'd be lost to this dark.
