Elias POV
The threat was now over 400 000km away and Syn was sitting in front of me, head resting on her palm as she gazed out the plane window in fascination of our decent. The effortlessness of her beauty, as well as the distance from Silas helped ease the tension that had my stomach twisted into knots.
syn shifted her gaze to me, to find I was already watching her, and a flush came to her ample cheeks and then my eyes found her lips, and I studied them for a moment.
I was counting down the seconds until I could have this time alone with her once we have landed. When I can kiss her fucking speechless and breathe her in. When I can finally fucking breath knowing she safe.
And When the plane began to dip she tightened her chest and inhaled sharp but kept her gaze firm on mine, powerful and charged, she stared me down with those fucking big brown eyes of hers.
For the first time in my life I have started to feel torn. I can feel the ripping. I can feel the way im wondering what it is that I really want?
And how all this sappy shit makes me want to do something stupid.
"new York." She guessed.
I nodded, and watched her sink back slightly and smile to herself in her victory. Her hair was thrown lazily over her shoulder which had my same hickies that covered her neck. Light bruises from my fingers on her skin that matched the very same she left in mine,
"you are staring." She said with an interested smiled, taking her finger and wrapping a strand of hair around it and twirling her hair, the act making me want to bruise her knees but the planes door was minutes from opening and she'd never forgive me if we got walked in on.
That and I'd have to waste crucial time killing them for seeing her like that.
"Elias?" She said when I didn't answer right away and it brought me back to thought. Fuck. What the hell was the matter with me?
"Hm?" I answered, yet despite how she held my full attention,My eyes stuck looming on her face and eyes. The depths of her irises welcoming me. Covering me.
"Where are we going to be staying?" She asked me, and I smiled lowly. Her voice sweet and low.
"That is supposed to be a surprise flower." I said and she shot me a deviant frown before her eyes shifted to the window as the pilot called for decent and we slowly began to fall.
Her hands gripped the seats armrests with a grip that'd rip the cushions, as we slowly came to a land and hit the runway, her eyes squeezing shut as we touched down, and only opened them once the plane settled speeding down the runway.
