68. Looking For Our Living

"Duh?" Mom started "If she sees your face there, obviously she will leave" she explains

"Oh....now I get it, but you have to call me and tell me what she says" I replied

"Of course! I will, honey" mom smiles

"Thank you!" I wipe my tears

"You're welcome. You're always welcome" mom envelopes me with a sweet hug which I gladly return

Diana's P.O.V

I woke up in the morning and went straight in the bathroom to take a quick shower. After taking a shower, I put on a white shirt and black shorts. I tied my hair into a high pony tail and I'm ready for this day.

I won't be going to the Horan's botique anymore, probably they already know that I left their mansion but it's really weird because Niall hasn't called yet. I got my phone from the table and check my logs.

No sign of Niall's calls.

Diana! Why are you waiting for Niall's calls? Isn't that great that he hasn't called? It just simply means you are free again.

I shake my head and placed my phone back. Today, I'm going to look for a job. This time I won't be too choosy in looking for a job, because Tara and I need to earn money for the baby and for her.

We also need money for our daily living. Right now, I still have enough money and savings that could last for at least 3 months, I think. Anyways, I'm going to take for a walk first.

"Tara!" I shake her shoulders softly trying to wake her up

Tara's body shifts and her eyes slowly opens. She rubs her eyes and Tara is now fully awake. She gives me a what look.

"What?" Tara said with her morning voice

"I'm going to take a walk and look for flyers about places around here looking for a job, want to walk with me?" I ask

"Sure!" She immediately got up from her bed "But we have to buy a yogurt as well" I knew she would say that

"Okay!" I smiled "Now, go take a shower and change your clothes" I added

Tara got out of her bed and went in the bathroom to take a shower. She takes a shower while I wait for her sitting on a chair tying my high-cut converse. The bathroom door flew open and she went out wearing the clothes I bought for her. Tara ties her hair as well and the two of us went out.

As what I said, we are going to take a walk. It is actually an advantage to us because our appartment is near the main street.

"Manhattan is such a nice place" Tara said looking around the place

"Have you actually been here before?" I asked as we pass by a food shop

I think my tummy is going to shout later on.

"No!" She immediately answered "You know, I haven't been to any places before just around our place, cause my parents don't really like to travel"

"I know" I put my hands in my pockets

"You?" Now is her turn to ask

"Actually, yes!" I smiled "Granny brought me here when I was really young. Really young. We went here to see her friend" I emphasize the word really young

"I see" Tara nods "Oh! Look, there's a bulletin board maybe there are some flyers posted there" she points at the exact spot where she found the bulletin board

Tara and I went to see the bulletin board and started scanning the papers posted there for those job finders.

Body Spa.

Wanted! Office secretary.

Gotcha!

I pulled the paper where it says 'Wanted! Office secretary'. I started reading the whole paper and the job is somehow interesting. This isn't my course when I went in college but money is seriously important to me and Tara, right now.

"I found one!" I said showing the paper to Tara

"Office secretary?" Tara raise an eyebrow "Quite nice, huh?" She comments

"The interview will be on wednesday. I've got one day to prepare" I said "You found one for yours?" I asked

"Yeah! And it actually fits me perfectly" I notice Tara holding a paper

"What is it?" I asked

"Stylist" she said it with her so called 'over reacting' voice

"When is their hiring schedule?" I asked and the two of us started walking again

"Tomorrow" Tara furrowed her eyes

"I know you will get the job" I cheer her up

Tara and I decided to drink at a nearby coffee shop. When we went in the scent of cinnamon, immediately filled my nose and I take the scent deeper until the air fills my body. It feels relaxing to smell that cinnamon scent.

We went straight to the counter and ordered a coffee. Tara and I sat on the center and waited for our coffees.

After a few minutes, the barista came with our coffees. She settled it in front of us with two muffins. This will be our breakfast and I'm seriously enjoying it. I got my phone out of my pocket and decided to take a picture of me and Tara, while drinking our coffee and eating our muffin. In short, we had this what you call selfie.

We finished our breakfast and walk back home. I set the paper down on the table and Tara did as well. I saved the office number in my phone and started preparing my requirements.
