42. Bad Hang-Over

The door slowly opens and Niall came in. He closes the door gently behind him. He smiled at me knowing that I'm awake. The scene that happened last night replayed in my mind again, because he wear the same smile last night.

"The food is ready" Niall said sitting in front of me

"I'm not hungry" I answered softly, because my throat is sore

"You need to eat. You fainted last night, so you need energy" he said

"Don't force me to eat, when I don't want to eat. Cause I might just throw all those stuff up when you keep forcing me to eat" I replied covering my face with the blanket

"Fine! I'll just leave your food in here, in case you're hungry" he walks out the room

Niall's P.O.V

I walk out of the room and went in the kitchen. I started searching each cupboards for a food tray, and to my luck, I found one. I placed the plate of mac and cheese, a glass of milk, a napkin, and the spoon and fork on top of the tray.

I carried the tray and started walking headed back to our room. I open the door in one hand and went in the room. I placed the tray on a small table beside Diana, and walk out of the room.

I decided to watch a movie called Now You See Me.

When the movie ended, I decided to check on Diana. She is back to her sweet dreams, and she hasn't touch a single macaroni on her plate. Maybe, she doesn't like the food. I decided to make her a soup.

I got my phone, raybans, car key, and went out of the house. Right now, I don't wanna deal with any other people except for my sick girlfriend, Diana.

After getting all the ingredients I need, I went to the line. I was standing on the line, when I noticed 4 familiar faces.

Jade.

Ashton.

Kelly.

And worst of them all, Austin.

I look at the other direction, so that they won't notice me. Of course! The unexpected always happens.

"Niall!" Ashton shouted and it made me turn to face them

They all started walking towards me.

"Why did you and Diana left early last night?" Jade asked

"Oh! She didn't feel good. She's actually sick right now" I answered

"Tell her to get well soon" Kelly smiled

"Okay!" I replied

"Bye!" They all walked away

I payed for the stuff I got, and went back home. When I got home, I immediately went straight to the kitchen, and prepared the soup.

After a few minutes, the soup is ready. I got the bowl of soup and went in the room, where I found Diana leaning on the headboard. I sat on the space beside her, and started feeding her. At the first scoop, Diana winced, so I blew the soup gently and brought it to her lips, which she gulp fast.

She finished the soup fast, so I have to go out of the room and wash the bowl. Suddenly, I heard a vomitting sound, so I run in the bathroom and found Diana throwing up. I rub her spine gently as she continues to vomit.

"Are you okay?" I asked

"Yeah!" She nods wiping her mouth and washing it

I guided her back to the room. Diana looks so sick. Her skin is so pale. Her lips isn't in the right shade.

"I'm gonna call the doctor" I said "You can just watch the beautiful scenery outside"

I push the curtains aside letting Diana see what's outside. I went out of the room and called the best doctor in Australia.

After a while, there was an abrupt knock on the door. I open the door and found an old man wearing a formal clothes, holding a brief case standing outside my door. He must be the doctor. I look at him and he look back at me.

"Mr. Horan, I'm Dr. Bartlett" he introduce himself

"Nice to meet you" I shook hands with him

I guided Dr. Bartlett to our room where my sick girlfriend is. The doctor sat on a chair near the study table. Dr. Bartlett places his brief case on top of the table and gets his iPad out of the case. So this doctor is not the notepad type doctor. He is more of an iPad type doctor. You know what I mean.

"So, Ms. Diana, tell me what you feel" Dr. Bartlett said

"I feel like there's something in my throat that everytime I eat I want to throw up, and my head aches a lot" Diana replied

I just watch both of them as they exchange words, while I lean on the wall with my arms crossed.

"Did you drink any alcohol the night before?" the doctor asked typing on his iPad

"Yes!" Diana answered

"Okay!" The doctor placed his iPad back on his brief case and got up from his seat

"So, what's the problem with my girlfriend?" I finally butted in

"She is just having a serious hangover" Dr. Bartlett answered "If you could excuse me, I still have a lot of things to do" he added

I guided the doctor out of the house and went back in the room.

"Everything will be alright" I kiss Diana's forehead "Just take a rest"
