96. Kidnap Again

Hey guys! I'm very very sorry for the long wait but hey! I'm on time right now it's just that I moved into a new house and I waited for my internet to be connected, but like I said at the last chapter an exciting event will happen and I hope you enjoy reading this chapter.

The alarm that is placed on my set table started ringing and it wake me up. I turned the alarm off, rub my eyes gently, and got out off bed. I went over to where my window is and pushed the curtains aside.

The leaves of the trees have fallen out and next week it's going to be December already. I need to change my bed sheets into thick comforters as soon as possible because I'm guessing by the end of the month, it'll snow already and it will be freezing cold outside and somehow cold inside.

I went in my bathroom and turn the heater to the warm temperature, and started taking a quick shower. After taking a shower, I put on my undies and next is my thick black dress that falls until my knees. I decided to just comb my hair and let my natural curls fall down on my shoulder.

I got my brown hand bag, phone, wallet, and car keys. I grab my navy blue coat on the rack and put it on. The sound of hard foot steps almost scared the shit out of me but after knowing that it was just Tara trying to find yogurt, I calmed down.

"Aren't you going to eat breakfast?" Tara asked.

"No, I'll just stop by at starbucks and grab some coffee" I said putting on my glasses.

"Before you go Diana, can I ask you a small favor?" She asked giving me that puppy eyes, while rubbing her huge belly.

"Yeah, sure" I gave her a sweet smile. "What is it?".

"Before going straight home can you please buy me some strawberry or blueberry yogurts?" She answered.

"As usual!" I rolled my eyes. "I better go now, bye" I said zipping up my last boot and went out.

The cold wind immediately blew my hair and it also hit my face, so I hug my coat tighter to feel warm inside. I went in my car and I felt somehow please with the heat that my car is giving me.

I put the key in the ignition, start my engine, and drove to my work. On the way to Carter Queens Inc., I stop over at a Starbucks and ordered a cappuccino. After buying myself a coffee, I drove straight in the company.

I got out of my car and went in the building. The receptionist greeted me, as usual. I went in the lift and pressed the number of the floor, where Mr. Carter's office is, after a few minutes, I finally arrived in Mr. Carter's front door.

I push the wooden door open and I almost drop my coffee seeing Niall Horan sitting across Mr. Carter's desk. His head turn to look at me and I noticed his eyes grew bigger. I inhaled deeply and exhaled heavily. I don't really know why but my heart is beating so fast as if it is part of those formula one races. I closed my eyes and exhaled one more time, and went to my desk.

"Diana, you were right on time" Mr. Carter decided to speak as I put my hand bag and coffee on my table.

"Is there something that I could do sir?" I asked with a smile on my face, totally focusing on Mr. Carter.

"Yes, please come forward" my boss gestured his hand towards his table which is actually beside Niall.

"I'm going on a business trip with Austin for a month and I want you to take charge" Mr. Carter said and I was actually shock with what he said.

"What?! Sir, you must've asked the wrong person because I can't handle a big company like this" I said pushing my glasses to my nose.

"I know you can do it, besides you will be guided by the co-owner which is the Queens family" he taps his wooden table.

"But sir-" I was about to say something but Mr. Carter immediately butted in.

"Please take Mr. Horan to our lounge and make him comfortable"

I sighed heavily and looked at Niall which made him look back at me. I took a deep breathe and said,

"Mr. Horan, please follow me" and flashed a forced smile.

I walk ahead of Niall but because of his long legs, he is now ahead of me. He pushed the door open and gestured me to go out just like those gentlemen who ask their lady for a date.

After getting out, I pressed the elevator and the door immediately slides open. I went in and Niall followed after. I press the floor where the lounge is located and watch the floor number as it slowly decreases. We arrived at the floor and we started walking headed to the lounge, a few inches away. I felt fine because neither of us decides to speak up. The two of us having a good time chat is seriously the last thing on my list.

Austin's P.O.V

"We are going to London for a business trip" dad announced out of nowhere.

"What? Why? Do I really have to go?" I asked.

"Yes!" Dad's answer was firm.

"Do you really fucking want me to leave Diana alone, while that douche bag is always going here because of your and his father's agreement?" I said angrily.

"What the hell is wrong with you?!" My dad pounds his hard table which made his stuff shake. "Is there something you aren't telling me?" He added while he stare at me with anger in his eyes.

"You wouldn't understand!" And with that, I left his office and went to my office.

When I got out of the elevator, I spotted Diana and Niall walking together and god knows where they are going. The image of them walking together just makes my blood boil.

I walk very fast and grab Diana's arm, which made her scream really loud which I suppose is because my grip was too hard, and pulled her in the janitor's room, locking it immediately.

I turned the lights on and she didn't stop screaming so I placed my palm on her mouth.

Niall's P.O.V

I was walking with Diana headed to the lounge room when out of nowhere, Diana started screaming and I look back, and I see Austin pulling her hard, headed to a dark room. Right now, I am frozen in place and I don't really know what to do.

Should I help her?

Why did Austin do that?
