I arrived at our house and I parked my car properly. I went out of the car and went in the appartment. Tara got home first before I did.

"Diana!" Tara screamed and ran to me.

"What?" She is back to being the girly type Tara.

"I want to tell you something" she said happily pulling me to sit on a chair with her.

"Tell me" I said, showing her that I'm not interested to her gossip or whatever is that she's going to tell me.

"Well, you know that I am now a stylist to a very famous styling group, right?" Tara smiled, showing her full, white teeth.

"Tara! Please go straight to the point" I rolled my eyes .

"Okay! Okay!" She said excitedly "I was assigned to style Paris Hilton a while ago, since her personal stylist left the job. Her manager told me that I will be Paris's stylist temporarily, but if she likes my styles then I could be Paris's new stylist" Tara clapped her hands.

"That's good!" I said weakly.

"Eh? Why do you act so jelly, and you look like you aren't happy?" Tara asked.

"I'm just tired" I said, went to my bed, and let my body fall on my bed.

I was already comfortable with my position when my phone suddenly started ringing. I groaned and answer the call without reading the caller's name.

"Hello?" I said tiredly.

"Diana!" Austin's voice is audible from the other line.

"Austin!" I immediately stood up straight "I mean Sir Austin. Wait, should I call you sir Austin or Austin?" Why would he call in the evening? That's very odd.

"Call me Austin, besides we're not in the office right now" he chuckled.

"Oh! Okay, Austin! Is th-e-ere so-m-mething wrong?" I asked prolonging the words.

"No!" My boss immediately disagreed "I just want you to dress up tonight. I'll be there at your house by 7" he explained.

"Sir?!!" I was surprised by the sudden announcement "I mean Austin! Why?" I asked.

"We have an important meeting with foreign companies, it's really important" he said.

"Okay! I have to go now. I still need to get dress" I immediately hang up the call and rush in the bathroom.

When I got out, I noticed Tara watching me as if I was in a fast forward motion.

"Where are you going?" She asked curiously.

"We have an important meeting with the foreign companies" I explained.

"But it's already 6 in the evening and we're suppose to have our dinner right now" Tara said.

"There's this such thing called over-time. In fact, they will add my salary" I put on a pink dress, blazers, and white sandals on.

"I don't even think that's appropriate" is Tara seriously debating with me? "Look, I'm not questioning your work but aren't you supposed to rest at this time, after the long day in your office?".

"I know but when my boss needs me then it's not a bad idea" I shrug, putting the important stuffs in my purse.

"Just please take care" oh! Now I know why she's been bombarding me with rediculous statements. It's just that she cares so much about me.

"I will" I smiled sweetly and she envelope me with a hug.

After a few moments, we heard an abrupt knock on the door. I went to open the door and my boss is standing outside, wearing a black jeans and white polo shirt. Is he suppose to wear those kinds of clothes? Anyways, we left the house forgetting to say good bye to Tara, since she went in the bathroom.

Austin led me in his car and he open the door for me just like the ones in the movies, where the guys would open the door for the girls cause they'll have a romantic dinner under the moon light.

Quit it Diana! Austin and you, will have a meeting with the foreign company owners. Stop thinking about dinner with someone special. Remember, you went here because you want to have a new life with your best friend.

We drove away and the space between us is filled with an awkward silent. I look out the window avoiding contact with my boss. You know, it's really awkward because when we first met in Australia, I thought he is some jerk or should I call him a hustler but it turns out that he's a kind, business man. Now, I believe on what other people says that, first impressions aren't always right.

The car stopped in front of an old-fashion restaurant. Big, bold letters were imprinted on a large, smooth wood that says, BARBECUE HOUSE RESTAURANT. The name sounds really familiar.

"We're here!" Austin pulled the hand break and the car went to a hard stop.

I push the red button on the seat belt lock, and the seat belt was immediately unlock. Austin went out of the car first, turn to the other side, and open my side door.

"Thanks!" I said and he close the door gently.

We went in the restaurant and scent of roasted foods occupied my nostrils at an instant.

"Where are the company owners?" I asked looking around the area, looking for a foreign face but there was none.

"Reservation for Mr. Austin Carter please" he tells the waiter.

"Please come with me sir" the waiter led us to a seat and we both sit across each other.

"Where are they?" I whispered to myself looking out the window to see if a car parks.

Austin chuckled, "There are no foreign company owners!" He said.

"Wait! What?" He seriously is making me freak out.

(Cliffhanger! I know..... Hahah. I think you already know what Austin meant by that. Let's see if your prediction are right. Please comment your predictions and hit the vote button.
