74. In His Office

(Hey guys so basically I just finished watching a One Direction movie, well not exactly, because the video talks about One Direction. It's not like the Up All Night Live Tour or the This Is Us. It is somehow a collection of interviews and their videos. It is called ONE DIRECTION REACHING FOR THE STARS, it has a part one and a part two but I don't really know if it has a part three and so on and so forth, but the one I watched were part one and two. If you guys haven't watch it yet, why don't you? Enjoy reading)

I came to a point where I was facing a large black door placed, at the center part of the floor. I look at the name plate placed beside the door and it says 'Mr. Austin Carter, C.E.O'. Ah, so this is his office. I took a deep breathe, pulled my blouse down to make sure that I look formal, when I face the chief executive officer of this company, and made five consecutive knocks on the door.

I heard a deep voice spoke telling me to come in. I push the door open and went in the woah! Austin's office is really huge. I could say that it's as big as Maura's office but this type of office is wider. There's a glass table placed at the center and two, black, leather chairs placed in front of the desk. A flat screen television is also placed at the left side.

"You like it?" I didn't realize that I was looking around the whole place for a very long time.

"I'm sorry" I can feel my cheeks flushed.

Austin is standing, looking at the huge glass windows. He is now actually leaning on it. I walk towards his table and placed the folder on top of it.

"I just came here to give you the forms" I said feeling the embarrasment due to my stupidity.

"Thank you!" He said.

"If you would excuse me mister, but I still have to do a lot of things" I said.

"Sure! You may leave" Austin replied.

I turn my back on him and started walking headed to the door. I stop on my tracks when he called my name, which made me turn around to look at him, again.

"Diana!".

"Yes, sir?" I asked.

"I want you to call the Barbecue House Restaurant, and make a reservation at around..." Austin stared at his shiny watch and added, "8".

"Okay, sir" I smiled and went out.

I went back to my floor and did what the chief executive had just told me. I'm guessing that my boss is having a date tonight and I'm pretty curious, who's the lucky girl? When I finished the reservation, I immediately took my lunch break at a nearby fast food restaurant.

Niall's P.O.V

Right now, I am sitting on this uncomfortable hospital bed with medical equipments attached on my hand and chest.

"Honey, are you hungry?" Mom asked looking at me with a concern look etched on her face.

I just shook my head in reply.

"What?!" Mom exclaimed "You haven't ate anything yet and you're still not hungry?" She is totally freaking out.

"I will only eat if someone will feed me" I said weekly looking out the window.

"That's why I am here to take care of you, and I could feed you" mom said.

"Not you" I simply replied.

"Then who?" I can tell mom's getting frustrated as she deals with me about everything.

"Diana" I said in a low voice.

I heard mom's heavy sigh and I could tell that she takes a seat on the couch.

"You know, I am trying my best to call her and bring her here, but she won't answer. Niall, don't push her too much and don't push yourself too much to find her as well" mom explained.

"Mom, I want you to leave" I said quietly.

"What?! You know I have to take care of you" she was taken aback by my words.

"Leave!" I said in a strong way "Please!" My voice suddenly change.

I watch mom as she stood up from the couch and went out of the room. I really can't handle this now. All I want and need right now is Diana. Is my subconscious telling me that I'm obsessed with her? Ah! No, I'm just worried about her. She is my life! Of course, I need her.

Maura's P.O.V

Right now, I am leaning outside of Niall's room. I mean, there are a lot of other girls out there that he could love. Why is he obsessed with Diana?

Don't get me wrong, I want Diana for my son. It's just that, if my son keeps on pushing her away too much, even though he doesn't realize it, then it's making Diana go away. I can tell that my son couldn't handle his first ever, serious relationship.

It's all my fault, because when he was a kid, everything that he wants will be given at once. I guess, I spoiled him too much. Now that he is already old enough, he should realize that, not everything that he wants will be given with the snap of his fingers or with the blink of his eyes.

I was actually surprised when I first met Diana. I thought, he dated her first but when Diana told me that Niall kidnapped her and forced Diana to himself, I was really shock. It was like my soul went out of my body, because I couldn't believe that my son could do such a thing.

Diana's P.O.V

The time just went by so fast that it's already 5 in the afteroon, and that simply means, it's time for me to go home. I gathered my stuff, shut my computer down, and started walking headed to the elevator.

When I arrived at the ground floor, I was immediately stopped by my boss.

"Diana!" Austin shouted.

"Yes sir?" I asked turning around to face him.

He walk up to me and replied, "Can I have your number?" Austin pulled his phone out of his slacks.

"You already have my number, you forgot?" I raise an eyebrow.

"Oh! Yeah! I totally forgot. By the way, I have a new number" he said.

Austin missed call my phone and said.

"That's my number" he smiled "By the way, can you please send me your address. It's for some stuffs" Austin said.

"Okay!" I shrug, typed my address on my phone and send it to Austin.

"Do you want me to drive you home?" Austin offers.

"No thanks! I have my car" I refuse.

"Okay then, see you tomorrow" he waves good bye.

"Okay!" I turn away and went out of the building.

I went in my car and drove away.
