Under The Sheets

21. First Day

I woke up in the morning by the sound of my alarm. I made my bed and went in the bathroom. I took a quick shower and grab my clothes. Today, I'll be wearing a plain white loose shirt and short shorts.

Maura told me to wear something that best describes me, so I decided to wear these. I comb my hair and put on my fashion glasses. I got my phone, bag, and sling it on my shoulder. I went downstairs and went straight to the kitchen.

I got the cereal box and poured it in the bowl. I placed the box back and got the milk and poured it in my cereal. I started eating and suddenly Tara appeared in the kitchen. Tara's hair is still messy and she's still in her pyjamas. She placed the bread in the toaster and waited for it to cook. Tara lean on the counter and asked.

"So tell me what happened yesterday?"

"Niall and I broke up!" I answered

"What?!" Tara clap her hands together in shock

"Niall cheated on me. I saw him kissing Cynthia Rose in a party" I blurt it out

"And you're going to work in the Horan's Botique?" she raises her eyebrow

"Yeah! Niall's the problem not his mom" I answered finishing my food

"But-" Tara was cut off by the beep of the toaster

"I have to go!" I said placing the bowl and spoon in the dishwasher

I put on my converse and cardigan. Right before I headed out Tara said, "Have fun!"

I went in my car and drove to the coffee shop. When I arrived, I park my car near the entrance and went in the shop. The smell of coffee welcomed me. I decided to order a coffee and took a seat on the table near the window. While waiting for Maura, I decided to play on my phone.

There's this game called Design in my phone where I design stuff. Playing the game keeps me from being bored. After a while of playing, I decided to just enjoy my coffee. The front door flew open and Maura went in. She's wearing a madame dress. I wave at her, so she could see me. She sat across me and we started talking.

"How was you?" Maura asked

"I'm fine! You?" I answered

"I'm fine too!" she smiled "So are you ready to design clothes?" Maura asked

"Yeah!" I smiled

"So let's go?" she suggests

"Sure!" I replied and we both got up from the seat

We went out and the cold air blew my hair. Maura told me to just follow her car, so I won't get lost or something. Maura and I both went in our own cars and drove off.

We arrived at a huge building. I parked my car beside Maura's and got my bag. I went out of the car and lock it. Maura and I went in the building and everything is clean. There's a girl sitting on the I suppose the help desk. The girl look up at us and smiled.

"Good morning! Mrs. Horan" the girl greeted

"Good morning! Helena" Maura smiled back

Maura and I went in the elevator. Maura pushes the button and the lift started moving up. The elevator open and we went out of the elevator. There's another girl sitting on a desk reading something.

"Good morning! Madame" the girl said

"Good morning!" Maura replied

We walk past the girl and stop in front of a see through room. The glass is used as a wall and the door is made up of glass as well. Maura presses the number combination in the security pad and the door slides open. We went in the room and Maura places her bag on top of the desk and sat on an expensive chair.
