23. Joke Time

Niall sat beside me.

"Wait for my revenge!" he jokes

"How long will it take?" I laugh

"You have a whip cream on the corner of your lips" Niall points

"Is it gone?" I asked licking the corner of my lips

"Nope! Not yet" Niall shook his head

"Is it gone?" I asked again after wiping my mouth

"No!" Niall answered

"What? Where is it? Can you please just point the exact spot?" I'm starting to feel annoyed

"Here let me help you!" Niall moves closer and kiss my lip

That's when I knew he tricked me. When he pulled away, I swat his hands hard. Niall just started laughing.

"I told you I'll have my revenge!" Niall says in between laughs

"Shut up!" I said crossing my arms on my chest

"So what do you want to do?" Niall asked

"What time is it?" I replied

"9:30?" his answer was more of a question than an answer

"Oh god! I need to sleep" I immediately stood up from the couch

I was about to walk away but Niall grab my hand, "Wait! It's only 9:30 and you want to sleep. C'mon let's watch a movie"

"I'm sorry Niall, but I can't!" I said

"Why can't you?" he asked raising his eyebrows

"I have to wake up 6 in the morning and go to work" I explained

"Work?" Niall asked

"Yes, work!" I said and I remembered that Niall didn't know about my job "I am a fashion designer in your mother's company" I continued

"What?!" he let go of my hand

"Now! If you will excuse me I need to take a rest" I excuse myself from him and went upstairs to his room

I went in the bathroom and brush my teeth. I lie on the bed pulling the sheets to cover my body and stare at the lamp. After a few minutes of staring at the lamp, I turn it off and close my eyes. I find it hard to sleep knowing that Niall and I are together again. I just kept my eyes close trying to think of something that will make me sleep.

Suddenly, I heard the door creak open, but my eyes remain close. I can feel the bed moving and I'm a hundred percent sure that it's Niall. I felt an arm around my waist and a warm body pressed against my back. I can feel Niall's lips near my ear.

"I promise to never let you go!" he whispers to my ear

Does he even know I'm still awake? Nah! I don't think so. With those 7 sweet words I felt my body go warm, and after that I went to my dream world.

I wake up in the morning with the ray of light striking my eyes. I find it really weird because everytime I'm awake Niall's already awake, but now look who's awake first. Me. I slowly remove his arm from my stomach trying not to wake him up, but sadly he did. Niall gently rub his eyes and look at me.

"Sorry for waking you up!" I appologize

"It's okay!" Niall replied with his husky voice

"I need to go to work" I got out from the bed

I heard Niall groan and I just rolled my eyes. I went in the bathroom and took a shower. I wrap myself with a towel and went out of the bathroom. When I got out of the bathroom, Niall immediately went in the bathroom.
