35. Meeting New People

"I'll have lemonade" I smiled

"Oh! Men! There's no fun with your drink. How 'bout tequila, vodka, or bacardi black?" the guy asked

"Sorry! I just want lemonade, cause I still have to walk home" I answered

"Oh! I can walk you home" he flirts

"You know, I have a boyfriend, right?" I laugh

"I was just joking!" the guy laughs "You're lemonade we'll be right there in a couple of minutes" he added

I tap the table as I wait for my drink. Suddenly, a girl ran towards the booth and stop right beside me. She smiled at me and look back to the bartender.

"Hey! Andre, get me a glass of iced tea" she shouts and sat on the chair beside me

The girl has a dark brown hair with colorful highlights. She has a white skin and right now she is wearing a black bikini with a black thin cloth tied around her waist. I think she noticed that I was looking at her, because she turn to face me.

"Are you new here?" she asked

"Yeah! We just arrived here a while ago" I smiled

"From where?" she asked simultaneously

"New York!" I answered and our drinks were both served

"Great place! I am actually from Los Angeles. I moved in here, because I want to have a fresh start" she replied

"How long have you been here?" Now it's my turn to ask

"3 years!" she sips her iced tea

"What's your name?" I asked

"Jade, Jade Gillies" she reach her hand for me to shake

"Diana, Diana Rickards" I gladly shook her hand

"So where is your house located?" Jade asked

"The white house at the far side" I answered finishing my lemonade

"Come with me. I want you to meet my friends" Jade grab my hand and pulled me

We stop near the water. There were 4 beach umbrellas placed near 4 beach mats and the 3 were occupied. I suppose the mat that wasn't occupied is Jade's spot. The three people look at us when they saw Jade.

"Hey! Guys, I want you to meet my new friend, Diana. She is new here" Jade introduced me

"Hi!" I wave awkwardly

"Hey! I'm Kelly"

"Yo! I'm Ashton"

"Hi! Austin here!"

Jade gestured me to sit on the sand, so I did. We all started talking. This is a good start for me, cause it has only been 5 hours since Niall and I arrived and now I'm meeting new people. Kelly has a blonde hair that falls until her shoulder. She has a navel piercing.

Ashton has a red hair and he has built-in muscle. Austin has hazel eyes and brown hair. He also have 4 pack abs like Ashton.

Niall's P.O.V

I woke up from my long nap and found a note on the side table. I feel somehow sad knowing that Diana went for a walk. I got out of bed and went in the living room and watch my all time favorite series The Walking Dead.

I was in the middle of the series when my phone started ringing, so I got it and answer the call.

"Hello?" I answered

"Hey! Honey, how are you?" Mom asked

"I'm fine!" I answered

"How's Australia?" Mom asked
