76. The Dinner Date

"I'm sorry but I lied to you" Austin said.

"What do you mean?" I'm seriously confused with the things that's happening right now.

"Okay! Let me clarify everything to you" he started "I lied about meeting the foreign company owners. The truth is I just want you to take out to a dinner" Austin is more serious now.

"You're joking right?!" I force a laugh.

"No!" He look at me.

"Why didn't you just tell me?" I asked.

"I don't think you would come" Austin shrug "So let's order?" He suggests.

"Okay!" This time I let out a real laugh.

Austin called the waiter and ordered a grilled beef and pork barbecue. He ordered mango shake for our drinks. We talked to each other, while waiting for the food to be served. When the food is served, we immediately dig in.

"So, tell me, how's life?" Austin asked slicing his beef.

"As of now, I could say it's going too well" I said chewing the barbecue.

"Love life?" He raise an eyebrow.

I laugh at the thought, "I'm single right now" I said.

"I see" he nods.

We continued our conversation until we finished our food. After eating, he payed for the food and we headed out. Austin started driving and I noticed that we're going to a different way. The streets we're passing through right now is different from where we should pass. Isn't he supposed to drive me home right now, is he?

"Where are we going?" I asked, breaking the silence.

"I'll bring you somewhere, where the scenery is so beautiful. It may not be that peaceful as you wanted it to be, but it's beautiful" Austin assures me.

I look at my wrist watch and look at the time.

9:35 pm.

It's already late, for me, and he's taking me somewhere. Is he crazy? I still have to work tomorrow which means I have to wake up really early.

"I know, you're aware that I still have to wake up really early tomorrow, cause I have to go to work" I said softly but loud enough for him to hear.

"I also know that you're aware that I'm your boss" Austin chuckled.

"It's still not excuse" this time I look at him.

"When Niall took you on a date, were you being this nosy?" He asked.

"So, are you saying that this is a date?" Got ya, Austin!.

"Actually...." Austin's voice was cut out of his words by my voice.

"Whatever, anyways, just to let you know, Niall never brought me on a date. I mean he did. Once. Because, most of the time, he would bring me out on a dinner or lunch without even telling me, that's why I don't really talk too much when we're in the car and I don't consider that as a date" he was speechless.

Austin kept quiet until we reach the destination. Hotel? What are we doing in a hotel? Oh shit. Is he going to rape me? Fuck.

Shut up Diana.

I didn't let him open my door and I saw him raised an eyebrow when he saw me did that.

"What are we doing in a hotel?" I asked when we got in the hotel.
