16. Finding A Work

"That will be 5 grand!" Gretchen said and my mouth falls open

"Go and change your clothes. I'll be waiting for you at the suits area" Niall smiles and walks away

I went in the dressing room and wear my floral dress again. Gretchen grabs the white dress from my hand and walks away. I went to the suits area where I found the bald guy that Niall was talking to a while ago standing in front of a dressing room. I went to the guy and asked.

"Excuse me, have you seen Niall?"

"He's actually trying on some suits" the guy nods and I fall into the couch

I wait patiently for Niall to come out, and within minutes the curtain flew open. Niall gets out wearing a black suit and a tie.

"What do you think?" Niall asked

"It looks good on you" I mean it

"I'm going to buy this as well" Niall tells the guy and the guy nods

Niall went back in the dressing room and when he went out he was back into his skinny jeans, black shirt, and supras. Niall handed the suit to the guy and placed his arm around my waist guiding me headed to the cash register.

Gretchen was standing in front of a computer smiling.

"How much?" Niall asked

"That will be 10 grand" she answered running her finger on the keyboard

Niall got his wallet out of his back pocket and pulls out a debit card and hands it to Gretchen. Gretchen swipes the card and gives the card back to Niall. The bald guy hands us the paper bags and we went off. We went in the car and we were very silent along the driveway.

I decided to break the awkward silence, "So where are we headed next?" I asked

"To a shoe shop. We need to get you shoes that will match your dress" Niall answered drumming the steering wheel with his forefingers

"Oh!" I sigh

"Why, are you tired?" Niall surprises me by placing his hand on my thigh and it felt warm

"Not really" I replied weakly

"If you want I can just ask my mother if she has something that matches your dress" Niall suggests

"No! I'm fine" I decline

"Okay!" Niall mumbled removing his hand from my thigh and it feels cold again

After a few minutes of driving, we finally arrived in a shoe shop. Niall parks his car in front of the building and we both went in. A girl welcome us and Niall immediately told her what we're looking for, cause I think that he thinks I'm exhausted.

"So tell me about this dress" the girl said

"It's white and covered with Swarovski diamonds" I replied

"I think this one is the one" the girl shows me a white high heels

"Yeah! Me too" Niall butted in

"Well, that's perfect!" I smiled

"I'm paying for that" Niall said

Niall payed for the shoes and we drove off. I lean my head on the window and let out a yawn. I slowly close my eyes and slept.

Niall's P.O.V.

After a while of driving, we finally arrive at my house. The gates open and I drove in and park my car near the front door. I unbuckle my seat belt and notice that Diana fell asleep. I went out of the car and open Diana's door. Her head immediately slip down my arm.
