60. The Lie

I sat on the piano chair, lift the cover, and started running my fingers on the keys. If you are wondering what I am playing, well, it's the swan lake. I stop playing the piano when I heard a loud bang.

Maura went in the living room and smiled at me. Of course! I smiled back.

"Food is ready" Maura said

"I'll be there" I answered

I close the cover of the piano, push the chair, and went in the dining area. I took a seat on my usual spot and waited for the food to be served.

The food is actually well cooked, as what I see in front of me. Fish fillet, chicken salad, vegetable salad, mushroom soup, and last is macaroons. We have a Jack Daniel's and water for our drink. Usually, the Horan family will have whiskey for lunch with water, while red wine for dinner. They're life style is absolutely not my life style. They earn a lot and spend too much as well.

Maura sat on her usual seat and all that we're waiting for is Niall. What is taking him so long? Finally! After a millenium, he arrive at the dining area, to my surprise he still sat beside me but for fuck's sake I did not bother talk to him neither did he.

The three of us started eating. Not a word was even said while eating and it's really odd, because we usually talk while having our meal.

"So, Diana, tell me all the places where you and Niall went" Maura finally spoke

"Well.." I trailed "We went to the famous opera house, we ate at the Sydney Tower where the foods are obviously expensive but delicious, and we also went in the Blue Mountains National Park" I finish

"That's good!" Maura replied chewing her food "Did you meet any people and made new friends?" She added

"Yeah!" I nod "A lot of friends"

A few minutes of silence occupied our space again.

"Are you finish signing the paper works?" Maura asked Niall

I was finish eating and the people left were Maura and Niall, "Excuse me!"

I got up from the chair and went up to Niall's room leaving Maura and Niall to talk about business, of course. I've never saw them or heard them talking about other stuff except business as usual.

Niall's P.O.V

"Are you finish signing your paper work?" Mom asked me

I noticed that Diana is finish eating, so she stood up and said, "Excuse me!"

Diana immediately left the dining area and went upstairs, I think. I continued eating and replied to mom's question.

"Yes!"

"Well, that's great!" She commented "So, any plans for anything?" Mom asked simultaneously

"Yes! Tomorrow, I'll be out for work and I'm going to pay Greg a visit" I lie

"Tell your brother that I said hi" Mom replied

I was finish eating in time for mom to finish as well. Mom went up to her room, while I went to mine. When I open my door, my busy girlfriend welcomes me with nothing. Not even a glance, not even a smile, or not even a word was made. She just focus on her phone doing something, I don't know.

Surely, I love Diana, because she is my girlfriend but I have my needs as well. I understand she can't fulfill it, that's why I need a way or someone else who can fulfill it. Call me selfish, but I really need it.

Diana's P.O.V

Right now, I am reading an online book. The door flew open and I'm sure as hell that it is Niall. I did not bother look at him or even talk to him. He needs to understand that he can't control me, and not everything he wants will be given. Even though he is my boyfriend, I still have my rights and he got to deal with it.

I felt the bed move, and I can tell on my peripheral view that Niall is doing something on his Mac Book Air, while his head leaning on the headboard. I'm going to give Niall a forever silent treatment, until he realizes what's the fucking wrong.

So, this is my plan, tomorrow I'm gonna call Tara to tell her that I'll be paying her a visit, just to cover up, and then when I get to her house, I'm gonna explain everything to her.

After explaining everything to Tara, we're going to the place where Niall and Cynthia Rose will meet and that's the time we're going to bust Niall for cheating on me.

(Sorry for the short chapter guys! And for the late updates. I'm currently reading a book here on wattpad and it's really great, but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to tell the name of the story here. Anyways, I'm thinking of maybe having a book two or not. I need your opinion guys. Thank you)
