85. Getting Ready

This man right in front of me is seriously crazy. Is there something wrong with the chicken he ate, cause he's acting really wierd. I pinch myself to know whether I am dreaming or not, and I'm seriously not dreaming after feeling that pain and blinking my eyes, dude! Everything that happened is real.

"Uh-" shit. Why am I losing words? This is beyond ridiculous.

Austin laugh and replied, "You don't have to answer that".

Wooh! I wipe the sweat that collected on my forehead. Thank god! I don't have to answer that question. I really think that there's something wrong in his fried chicken. To avoid more awkward moments and question, I look at the time on my phone and it's time for me to go back in the Carter Queens Inc. building.

"We have to go back" I said.

"Okay!" He shrug.

We both stood up and went out of McDonald's, and he open the door for me. Austin and I went in his car and drove back to the building. When we arrive there, I immediately went out of the car, not letting him open the door for me.

"I really have to go! Bye" I said out loud and went in the building.

I know he was about to say something, but thanks to my feet, I don't have to listen to what he's going to say. I really couldn't stand the feeling everytime we're together. It's like urgh! I can't explain.

I immediately went in Mr. Carter's office and went back in working.

Niall's P.O.V

Today is actually the day I'll be going back to New York, and I had been looking forward to it. There's just one problem and that is my grand mother. I will miss her like she will miss me. I mean, who wouldn't miss their grand mother when she was the one taking care of you and keeping an eye on you for three whole months?

"I will miss you, Nana" I gave her a tight hug which she gladly return.

"I will miss you too, Niall" she smiled "You can always visit me anytime you want. Just give me a call" Nana added.

"I will" I said, with an assuring smile.

"By the way, before you leave, I want to give you something" Nana stands from her rocking chair and started walking towards a wooden drawer.

She pull the handle and got something out of the drawer. After getting that thing in the first drawer, Nana open another one and got something out as well. She started walking towards me and Nana hands me the things she got from the drawer.

"Here's a beanie I made. Make sure to wear it, and don't just display it" Nana hands me the black beanie she made.

"Thank you!" I said putting it on my head.

"And this is a necklace I bought. This was suppose to be your mom's but being the rich guy, your dad already bought her one so I decided to just keep it" she explains "I want you to give this to your girlfriend" Nana smiled giving me the beautiful necklace.

"But Nana, I don't have a girlfriend" I said.

"Just give it to her when you have one, okay?" Nana answered.

I gave my grand mother a kiss on the cheek with a matching warm hug, and left the house. I told her not to come with me in the airport since she'll just get tired, and Nana understands it and decided to just stay home with her nurse.

I went in the car with her driver and we drove to the airport. He helped me in unloading my stuff from the trunk and placing it on the cart. I said my goodbye to him as well and went straight in the airport.

The usual thing that the employees of the airport do, did to me as well. I went in my dad's plane and we fly away.

Maura's P.O.V

Everyone's actually busy in our hotel, since we are preparing for my son's arrival tomorrow. I actually know that he'll be going home tomorrow, yet everyone's still busy. I want it to be perfect, so that everything will be fine tomorrow.

I actually invited all of his friends, my friends, and his dad's colleagues. Of course, everyone has to be there when my son arrives. There's just one thing I've been hoping for, and that's hopefully he had recovered.

I'm crossing my fingers, hoping that he won't come back to New York and be looking for Diana, because I am a hundred percent sure that I can't bring her here when he arrives.

Maura! Have a deep breather and I'm sure everything will be fine.

I shake my head and went back in organizing the venue. Every single detail comes from my idea.

"Belle! Could you please tell the manager to change the chandelier. I want it to be simple not so extravagant" I said pointing at the chandelier above me.

"Yes! Ma'am" she immediately complied.

After the stressful day I had, I went home and went straight up to my room. Tomorrow is going to be a great day, and hopefully, nobody ruins it. I change my clothes into a thin, white, silky sleeping gown that falls until my knees and lie on my bed. I roll over and found a blank space beside mine.

I hope Niall's dad will come tomorrow for his welcome home party. It has actually been a long time since Niall's dad slept in the house. I'm seriously expecting Niall's dad tomorrow.

I cover my whole body with the duvet and went to sleep.

Cynthia Rose's P.O.V

Its's really odd that Maura didn't invite me to Niall's welcome home party. I mean, who wouldn't invite me? I'm the most beautiful girl in this place even though, I don't have money anymore due to Niall's stupid decision. He took my dad out of his business and now my dad doesn't do anything.

Who cares? With the help of my beauty, I can have money. I can have Niall back, since Diana and Niall aren't together anymore.

Watch out Niall! I'm coming to get you.
