Viper always gets up so early, but this time you manage to convince her to stay a little longer.

Sabine always got up particularly early. She had a schedule and she stuck to it. She would wake up, do her workout, make her coffee and then be out the door to work. As always though, you were her weakness.

Her alarm is beeping. 5:00 AM flashing brightly on the screen. She presses the button to silence it as quickly as she can. She looks over at you and smiles. You look so peaceful in the morning. You're pressed against her side, arm slung over her waist. She presses a light kiss to your forehead before she moves to lift the covers off of her and begin to get out of the bed.

She's stopped as you tighten your arm around her.

"Don't go yet," you mumble, still half-asleep.

"Y/n, my love, I have to go to work," she responds, amused at the groan you give in response.

"It's so early, just stay a bit longer," you plead, still holding on to her. "Please, Sabine?" You look up at her, pouting.

She sighs and smiles at you. She could skip her workout for this morning, just for you. She lays back down beside you and pulls you into her arms. You happily snuggle closer to her and she laughs softly.

"You should tell Liam to stop making you come in so early," you say into her shoulder. She presses a kiss into your hair.

"I don't think he would take 'my partner needs me to cuddle them in the morning' as a good enough excuse. I'll be back early today though, don't worry. I can give you all the cuddles you want then." You hum in agreement.

"I suppose that will work."

The two of you stay like that for another hour, before Sabine is once again gently moving you off of her so she can get up. You groan out in protest again, but she shushes you with a smile and presses a collection of kisses to your cheeks, your forehead and your nose which causes you to start laughing instead. Finally, she kisses you properly before she finally gets out of the bed.

"I'll see you tonight, my love," she promises once she's dressed. You're sitting up in the bed now, hair messy and still sleepy. "I love you."

"I love you too," you reply, and she nearly gives up going to work completely as you smile at her. But she just walks over and settles for giving you one more kiss before she leaves.

You're sitting on the couch when Sabine gets home early in the afternoon, watching something that you had put on the TV only half-interested as you occasionally scrolled through your phone. She shrugs off her coat and hangs it up before coming over to the couch and sitting down beside you.

"A promise is a promise," she says, smiling as she opens her arms to you. You happily move to let her wrap her arms around you as you sit in her lap. "Was it really that awful having to wait?" She teases as she runs her fingers through your hair. You grin up at her.

"Yes, it was terrible," you answer with a laugh. She kisses you.

The two of you sit comfortably together on the couch for the rest of the afternoon, perfectly content in each others arms.
