The story starts from where Karan is living in the academy as Balli. Monami knows about Karan and they are trying to gather some proof against Param Shergill.

In the storeroom:

Karan and Monami were sitting in the store room. Karan's head was on Monami's lap and Monami was caressing his hair. He was deeply thinking about something.

Monami (soft voice): Kya soch rahe ho Karan?

Karan: Hmmm....kuch nahi...

Monami: Ab mujhse baate chupaoge Karan?

Karan looked at her and she smiled warmly at him. The inner turmoil within him calmed down for a little while. He too gave her a warm smile and took her hand and interwined their fingers and started playing with them.

Karan: Bas soch raha tha Monami ki mere  bhaiya ko desh ke liye apni jaand de dete the aaj unhe Aisa kya hogaya ki woh apne family ko bhul gaye. Ek terrorist organisation ke head ban gaye? Kyu? Kaise?

A lone tear escaped from his eyes. She wiped them off and kissed his forehead. He closed his eyes

Monami: Accha woh sab chodo yeh lo.

Karan got up from her lap and saw two cups.

Karan: Yeh  kya hai?

Monami: Tumhari favourite cold coffee!

Karan: Ohh nice (and he winked). mujhpe bada pyaar jataya jaa raha hai Rani Sahiba..

Monami(in mind): Abhi yeh banda 2 minute pehle ro raha tha aur ab flirt kar raha hai. My God, dual personality dekho  to iski.

Monami: Arre tum par pyaar nahi jataungi to kya Balli par jataungi?

Karan scrunched his nose: Ab Balli kyu aaya yaha hamari baat chal Rahi hai na humari baat karo?

Monami: Jab bomb blast hua tha tab tumhare dimaag ko koi aur hissa toh blast nahi hua tha na? Tum flirt kar rahe ho?

Karan : Kya karu meine tumhe miss hi itna kiya.  Tum Khadoos ban gayi aur mein Flirt. Department exchanged. I love you.

Monami smiled and hugged him: I love you too Karan !!

But unknown to them Param Bhaiya has heard their conversation.

Param (in mind): Wah Karan wah. Tujhe kya laga tu zinda rahega aur mujhe pata bhi nahi chalega. Ab dekh tu Karan. Tera badla mein Barkha ya Baby ke dwara nahi lunga. Mein Monami se lunga. Mein jaanta hu tu Monami se bohot pyaar karta hai. Ab dekh lena tum log. Karan toh bach payega par Monami ko kaise bachayega tu Karan!

He said this while looking at Karan and Monami who were still in the hug.

Param gave a characteristic Shergill smirk and left from there. The couple in the storeroom recently united by their love thought that they have passed the exam of love. Maybe Monami has but Karan yet has to give his. I know Karan loves Monami as much as she loves him.

Next Day:

All were doing their morning drills even Karan who was supposed to pretend like Balli but failed to do so miserably. (Kuch bhi karvalo Special Agent Karan Shergill se par acting nahi hoti inse. Khoon mein hi Spl Agent daudta hai).
