Elsa's POV
Merida was the last one of the Disney archers to go up. She hit the bullseye on every single target. I leapt up along with all our friends and cheered loudly. She turned around, smiling, and waved at us before going over to the target and pulling her arrows out.
As soon as she was finished, the DreamWorks archers started to line up. I caught Astrid's eye and gave her a thumbs up. She smiled.
"Excuse me please."
I looked up to see Hans moving through the seats toward us. We all groaned.
"Well, I'm thrilled to see you all too," he said, sitting down directly behind me.
"What are you doing here?" Flynn asked. "Don't you have a frat party to go to or some other lame thing you can use as an excuse to skip school?"
"Easy, Fitzherbert," Hans said, his eyes glinting mischievously. "I wouldn't talk like that if I were you."
"Or what?" Flynn challenged.
Rapunzel placed a hand on his arm. "Just ignore him. He's just trying to get a rise out of you."
"Yeah, and it's working." Hans shifted so he was looking at me. "Hey, snow queen," he said, winking.
I rolled my eyes and turned around.
"Leave her alone Hans," I heard Anna say. "She's not interested."
"Relax, I'm just having some fun. Besides, she should feel flattered that I want to talk to her, seeing as she hasn't gotten anyone to date her since that very dramatic breakup last year."
That did it. I grabbed my bag and stormed across the seats and toward the door. Anna called my name, but I didn't look back and I didn't slow down. I walked out of the gym, my face burning.
"Elsa, wait up!" Anna ran out after me and put her hand on my shoulder. "Are you okay?"
I just shook my head, not looking at her.
"Hey, let's go somewhere quiet." She took my hand, and I let her lead me away from the gym.
Jack's POV
"Why would you say that?" Rapunzel demanded, turning on Hans. Kristoff and the other guy both looked like they were ready to punch him.
"Oh, come on," Hans said. "It's true."
"You have no idea what you're talking about." Kristoff's voice had gotten dangerously low.
"Let's just watch the match," Hiccup mumbled to us. "We don't wanna get in their business."
I did, but I figured he was right. I turned away from them and paid attention to the archers.

Once the match was over I stood to leave, but Hans put a hand on my shoulder. I glared at him. "What do you want?"
He didn't seem bothered. "Elsa's a...complicated girl. I don't think you know what you're getting yourself into."
"I'm not 'getting myself into' anything. And even if I were, that's not your business." I brushed his hand off my shoulder.
He just shrugged. "Suit yourself."
I growled and walked down the stairs. "Don't let him get to you," the guy who'd been sitting with Rapunzel said, following me down. "He's just a jerk. We all think so."
