A/N: I go a little overboard with describing the outfits in this chapter and kind of from here on out so just a heads up, I'm really into character outfits lol.

Elsa's POV

I strode briskly to the arena and marveled at what I saw. The whole thing had been transformed over the weekend. Royal blue and white streamers hung from the ceiling, and there were balloons of the same colors tied to weights in various spots around the perimeter of the room. Two huge banners hung on the walls on either side of me; one was blue that read "Disney Preparatory School" in white letters, and the other was white with "DreamWorks Academy" in blue letters and a picture of their mascot. I walked over to the platform that had been put up, where we would be for the opening ceremony. I went around it to a door in the back, leading to a small rather dimly-lit room under the seats.

"Oh, Elsa, good!" Mr. Genie, the events coordinator, exclaimed when he saw me. "Would you have happened to see Mr. South on your way here?"

"No, sorry," I replied. "Is he not here yet?"

"No, not yet. But never you mind – there's still plenty of time. Now, do you have any last-minute questions for me about what you're supposed to do?"

I shook my head. "No, none that I can think of."

"Alright. Well, if you do, feel free to come ask me. Mr. Haddock and Miss Hofferson are scheduled to arrive soon along with the DreamWorks student council, so I've sent Miss DunBroch and Miss Gold to escort them here once they do. The student council will be standing behind their king and queen, just like the Disney court will be standing behind you and Mr. South, along with the head administrators from each school. The platform is plenty big enough, so never you worry about crowding."

I wasn't worrying. I'd seen it at the rehearsal - it was huge. We might have been able to fit the whole senior class on it.

"Hello, Elsa!" I turned around and saw Ms. Fairy walking toward me. She was wearing a blue gown and had her hair pinned up in a 20's style bob.

"Good morning, Ms. Fairy," I said politely.

"Are you ready?" she asked, smiling.

"Ready as I'll ever be."

She laughed. "You'll be fine. Don't worry."

"Hans, good!" I heard Mr. Genie say and turned to see Hans walking in, dressed in black dress pants and a white button-down shirt. "Do you have any questions for me before we start?"

Hans shook his head.

Just then, the doors in the back of the room opened and Rapunzel walked in with two people. I wasn't able to get a good look at them because she immediately grabbed my hand and dragged me over to one corner.

"You look very pretty," I commented. She did – she was wearing a magenta button-down with puffed sleeves tucked into a violet pencil skirt, and her long blonde hair was pulled back in a half-up half-down style and secured with a big gold flower pin.

"Thanks gorgeous, so do you. But that's not what I came to tell you." She squealed. "Check out the student council when they come in. There's this one boy who's super cute."

"Um, girl, you have a boyfriend," I said, smirking.

She rolled her eyes. "I know. That's why I'm telling you. I hope he has a good personality because honestly you two would make a really cute couple."

I laughed. "Wow Zel, you've seen this kid once and you're already trying to play matchmaker."

"Yes. You can thank me later. Okay, I have to go find Eugene. I'll be back soon." She dropped my hand and ran back out the door.

"Hi, you must be Elsa."

I turned around. "And you must be Astrid." I recognized her from all the posters. She wore a simple maroon dress with fur trim around the collar, and her hair was in a braid.

"Yes, that's me. Very nice to meet you." She gestured to the boy she had come in with. "This is my boyfriend, Hiccup."

Hiccup waved. "Hi Elsa."

"Hi, nice to meet you." I pointed to Hans, who was standing on the other side of the room on his phone. "That's Hans. I have no relation to him."

Astrid laughed. "Alright then."

"Can I have the kings and queens over here for a moment please," Mr. Genie said. The four of us walked over to him. "First of all, very nice to meet you Mr. Haddock and Miss Hofferson. I hope you enjoy your time here at Disney Prep. Now, you won't need to bring your scripts up since there will be one on the podium that you can read from. You four will be standing closest to the podium, so all you need to do is step back when someone else is speaking and then step back up when it's your turn to read again. Are there any questions?"

We shook our heads. "Great!" He looked at something behind us. "Ah, just in time!"

We turned around to see Merida walk in with the student council behind her. I didn't bother trying to figure out which one of them Rapunzel was talking about – the lighting was too dim. A few seconds later Rapunzel slipped in the other door with Flynn, Anna, and Kristoff.

"Okay, is everyone here?" Mr. Genie took a quick head count. "Yes. Perfect. Alright. I'm going to ask that you all leave your bags and other personal belongings in this room. I'll lock the doors so no one will be able to get in. Once we get up onto the platform, I'll show you where to stand. Does everyone understand?"

We nodded.

"Okay, one moment please." Mr. Genie turned away from us to talk to Ms. Fairy.

Merida slipped over to stand with me. "Zel tell you about the eye candy from student council?" she asked mischievously.

I rolled my eyes. "Oh please, not you too."

"Come on!" Rapunzel had suddenly appeared on my other side. "You can't tell me you don't think he's cute."

"It's too dark in here to tell if anyone's cute. Although Mer I must say, dang girl you are looking fabulous." She had on a loose teal button-down tucked into tight black dress pants and black heeled boots, and her long curly red hair was loose and messily styled. "But I've seen her in good lighting before, so I already know that."

"Right back at you queen." Merida winked and made finger guns at me.

"Hardy har har." Rapunzel rolled her eyes. "Just take a look when we get outside. You'll know which one I'm talking about."

"That girl with the blue and green hair is pretty cute too," Merida commented. "If things don't work out with him."

"Oh, stop." I rolled my eyes. "Let's plan my next relationship when I'm not freaking out about having to speak in front of hundreds of people."

"I'm holding you to that," Rapunzel said.

I bit back a snarky reply as Mr. Genie's voice rang out through the room. "Alright everyone, we're ready to start. Please follow me."
