A/N: Attached media is who Anna, Elsa, Rapunzel, and Merida are dressed up as in this chapter.
Elsa's POV
"Y'ALL HAD BETTER BE READY SOON!" Merida screeched from the hall. "WE'RE LEAVING IN FIVE MINUTES. GET ALL YOUR HAIR, MAKEUP, EVERYTHING DONE BY THEN. I DON'T WANNA BE LATE!"
"Coming!" I called. I ran a brush through my hair once more before packing all my stuff back into my bag and leaving the bathroom.
Merida stood in the hall, already dressed. She was pounding on her bedroom door. "ZEL! ANNA! HURRY UP!"
"Hold your horses, woman," Anna said, opening the door. "I'm ready."
"Where's Zel?"
"Still in your bathroom."
"I'm coming, I'm coming!" Rapunzel ran out of Merida's bathroom and into the hall with the rest of us.
"Look at us!" Merida proclaimed. "Don't we look beautiful."
"And we're not even late," I whispered to Anna. She giggled.
We swished down the stairs in our long dresses and piled into Merida's car. "Is everybody else meeting us there?" I asked from the backseat.
"Yep," Rapunzel replied next to me. She glanced at her phone. "Flynn said he and the people he's bringing are on their way."
"Yay!" Anna said, clapping. "I'm so excited to see everyone's costumes!"
"Does anyone else have a group costume like us?" I asked.
"I think a bunch of the guys are going as superheroes," Anna said. "But I don't know about anyone else."
"I guess we'll find out soon," Rapunzel said.
We pulled up to the park not long after. There was a cute little fall festival set up with a pumpkin patch and little booths for getting candy and facepainting and stuff. A lot of kids were running around with their parents chasing after them, and a few clusters of teenagers milled about. Almost everyone was in costume.
"You brought the fiddle, right?" Merida asked Rapunzel as we got out of the car.
Rapunzel nodded. "It's in the trunk." She walked over to the back of the car and pulled a fiddle out of a black case.
We knew we were the first to get there since none of our friends' cars were in the lot yet. To pass the time, we decided to walk around. The brisk October air nipped at us as we strolled around the park, looking at the booths and games. When we'd made our way back to the parking lot, Flynn had arrived with Kristoff, Bunny, and Jack. Tooth's car pulled up not too long after.
As everyone piled out of the cars, I looked at their costumes. Anna had been right about the superhero thing – Flynn, Kristoff, and Bunny all had superhero costumes on. Flynn was dressed as Ironman, Kristoff was Captain America, and Bunny was Wolverine. Jack had dyed his hair green and was wearing a green and pink jumper. Sandy had a tophat and a dress coat with tails and was holding an umbrella. Tooth had pink hair in tiny little curls and had on a yellow dress with a lollipop print and a crown made of lollipops. Hiccup wore a sleek black suit with a red and black cape; his hair was slicked back, and he had in a pair of fake teeth with fangs. Astrid also had a cape but hers was blue, and she wore a long blue dress and had her hair in a fancy braided hairstyle.
"Daenerys Targaryen?" I asked her.
She laughed. "How could you tell?"
"Who are you guys?" Hiccup asked us.
