Elsa's POV

"Hi, Else!"

I turned around to see Rapunzel and Flynn walking over to the table where I was in the library. I smiled and waved.

"So, Anna said you're taking Jack to the ball?" Flynn asked with a hint of a smirk as they sat down.

"Yes," I replied, but I had a mouth full of sandwich so it came out more like "reth."

"Is he allowed to come?" Rapunzel asked. "After, you know, what happened with Hans?"

I nodded and swallowed my bite. "I talked to Ms. Fairy about it, and she said since Hans isn't coming and there will be a lot of adult chaperones it'll be okay. But she said she'd be more comfortable if he had a parent with him, so I asked him to invite his mom."

"Have you met his mom?"

"Yeah, when I went over to his house that one time. She seemed really nice. She helped wash all the grape juice out of my clothes."

Merida and Anna walked over to us just then, followed by Kristoff a moment later. "I have a proposition," Rapunzel said once everyone had sat down.

"What's up," Anna said, taking a sip of her water.

"What do you guys say to taking a limo to the ball?"

"I say that would be awesome," I replied. "But where are we gonna get a limo?"

"Well," Rapunzel said, resting her hands on the table, "my parents have a lot of business meetings and such this weekend, so they've rented one to take their guests out. But, they said we could borrow it to get to and from the ball. And there'll be enough room for all of us plus your dates," she finished, pointing to Merida and me.

"Who's driving?" Merida asked.

"My dad will. They're coming to the ball anyway, so they figured they'd drive."

"Well that sounds awesome," Kristoff said. "I'm in."

"Me too!" Anna exclaimed.

The rest of us nodded.

"Yay!" Rapunzel clapped her hands.

Jack's POV

"Jack!"

I'd barely closed my car door before I was attacked by three kids. I laughed and tried to shake them off of me. It didn't work. Jamie and Mary both had their arms wrapped around my waist, and Sophie had fastened herself to my leg. They were all giggling maniacally.

"Say it!" Jamie cried gleefully.

"Never!"

Mary jumped up and down, jostling my rib cage. "Sayyy iiiiit!"

"Ow! Okay fine, you win!"

Sophie shrieked with laughter and squeezed my leg tighter. Just then, their mother came out.

"Hi, Jack!" she called, waving.

I smiled. "Hi, Mrs. Bennett!"

"Sorry, but I'm going to have to steal these two away," she said, coming over to us. "We're driving out to my parents' tonight for the weekend, and we need to get ready to go."

Jamie frowned. "But I wanted to stay and hang out with Mary."

"Mary will be back in two weeks. Come on! It's Grandpa's birthday today! Don't you want to see him?"

Mary looked sad as she pulled Jamie into a hug. "It's okay. I'll see you when I get back."

He hugged her back. "Okay. Bye."

They let go, and Mary hugged Sophie. "Bye Sophie!"

Sophie waved goodbye and followed her mother and Jamie into the house.

"Ha! Now I have you all to myself!" I scooped Mary up and flung her over my shoulder.

She screamed and thrashed around, laughing. "Jack! Put me down!"

I started singing loudly as I walked us over to the front door with Mary still screaming and laughing. As we reached the front door, I flung it open and plopped her down. She ran upstairs, yelling, "I'll get you for that!"

I chuckled and went to find my mom. She was in her office, looking at something on her computer. I knocked on the door jamb. "Mom? Got a second?"

She looked up and smiled. "Sure? What is it?"

"Do you have plans tomorrow night?"

"I don't think so, why?"

"Well, the Disney Debutante ball is tomorrow night and my friend Elsa invited me to go with her, but the admin said they'd be more comfortable if I brought a parent along with me since I, uh..." I shuffled my feet. "Since I hit that kid."

"Oh." She frowned slightly. "Well, I suppose I could go. Are Elsa's parents going?"

"Yes," I quickly assured her. "And so are a bunch of her friends' parents."

"Alright then. Sure, I'll go. Do I need to drive you there?"

"If you could just drive me to Elsa's, that'd be great. Our friends are picking us up, and Elsa's parents said you could ride with them."

"Oh. Well that's nice of them. It'll be fun to see Elsa again." She smiled. "She seemed like a very sweet girl."

My face got very warm. "Yeah, yeah she is." I cleared my throat. "Well, I'm gonna go work on some stuff in my room now."

I passed Mary's room and popped my head in since the door was open. She was lying on her bed, reading a book. When she saw me, she stuck her tongue out at me. "I'm still getting you back."

I grinned. "Don't worry, I haven't forgotten." My grin slipped a little. "I wanted to talk to you about something, though."

"Okay?" She looked up from her book.

"Well, I got invited to go to a dance at my friend's school tomorrow night." I hesitated. "But I know you're leaving this weekend, so I won't go if you don't want me to."

She thought for a moment. "When is it? Like what time?"

"I'll leave around seven o'clock. Mom is going with me, so you'll have the evening alone with Bestemor and Bestefar."

"Okay. You'll still be here for the day though, right?"

"Oh, of course." I grinned again. "I'll be here to terrorize you all day."

"Hey!"

I laughed loudly and ran down the hall to my room.

A/N: Would you believe me if I said the chapter was done days ago but I couldn't think of a title? :') (I had one that I really liked but then I FORGOT it and it took me forever to come up with one that I thought was passable.)

Anyways I hope you liked the chapter, I'm not off hiatus yet I just really felt like taking a break from school stuff. (Long weekend this weekend so maybe I'll write some more.)

Happy reading! Lots of love,
