Elsa's POV

Valentine's Day! Jack was coming home for the weekend to spend it with me. He said he had the whole day planned out. I was beyond excited.

I went to the rink to practice the day before. My friend Periwinkle was there, along with a few other skaters I knew. "Hey, Peri!" I said, waving as I walked in. I sat down on one of the benches to put my skates on.

"Hey!" Periwinkle skated over to me as I tugged my shoes off. "How's it going?"

"Good! Rested and ready to try that jump again."

She laughed. "Good. Let us know when you're going to and we'll be sure to clear some space for you."

"Very thank you," I said. "So, got any plans this weekend?"

When I didn't get a reply, I looked up. Periwinkle was blushing and looking down.

"Okay, spill."

She sheepishly looked up at me. "Well, I kinda have a date..."

"Ooh!" I sat up and clasped my hands together. "Good for you, Per! I hope it goes well!"

"Thanks." She chuckled. "Me too."

"Soooo..." I wiggled my eyebrows. "Who is it? Anyone I might know?"

She blushed harder. "Actually, maybe. She went to Disney Prep too. Her name's Silvermist, she was on the cheer squad with Tink."

"Oh, Silver! Yeah, I know her! She's really sweet. Great catch."

Periwinkle did a little shoulder dance. "Thanks. I'm excited."

I slipped my skates on. "So, what are you guys gonna do?"

"Well, I was thinking I could take her to that lake in the woods that always freezes over and we could go skating. Have you been there?"

"Oh, yeah! My family and I used to go there all the time." I laughed. "I actually took Jack there back in December, when he was here for winter break."

"Oh, neat. Yeah, it's a great spot. Then we'll probably go get lunch somewhere, and then she wants to go to the Modern Art Museum to see that new exhibit."

"The one about water?" I asked as I finished tying my laces. "That sounds really cool. I've been thinking about going to see that myself."

Periwinkle nodded. "Yeah, I'm really looking forward to seeing it. And spending time with her, of course."

I stood and grinned at her. "Well, I wish you the best of luck. I'm sure it'll go great!"

"Thanks, Else. Are you doing anything with Jack this weekend?" she asked as I got onto the ice and we started skating.

"Yes, actually! He's coming home for the weekend, and he says he has the whole day planned out. He won't tell me any of it, though," I added, giggling.

Periwinkle laughed. "Well, hopefully it'll be a good surprise."

"I have faith that it will be. Now, how about we do a couple more laps and then start working on our routines?"

"Sounds like a plan."

The next morning, I woke up feeling refreshed and excited for the day. I sat up and moved the covers aside to get out of bed, but I stopped when I felt an excruciating pain in my abdomen.

"Oh no. Please no..."

Someone knocked on my door. "Elsa?" I heard Anna call. "Kristoff's coming over this afternoon and we're gonna watch movies in the den. That's not gonna interfere with your plans with Jack, is it?"
