Elsa's POV

"Elsa come on! We don't wanna be late!" Anna yelled from the hallway.

"Jeez, we're just going to Merida's house to hang out," I said. "It's not like we don't see all those people at school every day."

"Whatever. Rapunzel is almost here, and I don't wanna make her wait."

I sighed. Anna had been acting weird all morning, and I didn't know why. I changed into my swimsuit, which was a white strapless bikini with a light blue snowflake pattern on it. I put on a loose T-shirt and cut-offs over it, then grabbed my favorite beach towel and a bottle of sunscreen and put them in a bag with the rest of my stuff. I was slipping on my flip flops just as Anna banged on my door again. "Just give me two more seconds!" I called as I quickly braided my hair.

I heard her huff from the other side of the door.

My phone buzzed, and I picked it up to see a text from Rapunzel saying she was here. I opened the door to find a very cute but annoyed-looking Anna. She was wearing a two-piece with a black high-waisted bottom and a dark green halter top, and her hair was in a bun.

"I'm ready, let's go," I said, walking toward the stairs.

Anna ran down past me, calling goodbye to our parents. She threw open the door. "Hurry up!"

What is with this girl today?

Rapunzel smiled at us from inside the car. "Hey!"

"Happy Saturday!" Anna said, sliding into the backseat.

"Yeah, let's hope it is," Rapunzel replied as I got into the front seat and buckled in.

"What does that mean?" I asked, looking at her out of the corner of my eye.

"Oh, nothing," she said quickly. "I just mean I hope we have fun today."

"Mm. Yeah, me too."

"Oh, we will." Anna clapped her hands together. "Come on, let's go!"

We pulled up in front of Merida's house about ten minutes later. Kristoff's car was parked out front, so I assumed he and Flynn were already here. We walked up the driveway and went through the gate to the backyard.

"Hey!" Merida waved to us from one of the patio tables. Kristoff shouted something as Flynn cannonballed into the pool, getting water everywhere. We laughed while Merida rolled her eyes and walked over to us. "Okay, you guys know the drill. Food's over there." She pointed to the poolside bar. "Drinks are in the mini fridge. Help yourself to whatever."

"Thanks, love," Rapunzel said. "I'll be right back, I'm gonna go change."

She headed into the house, and Anna and I walked around the pool and set our bags down by some of the chairs. We pulled our sunscreen out and started lathering it on.

Anna was putting some on my back when Rapunzel came back out, dressed in a super cute magenta one-piece with a halter top. "Ooh, sunscreen!" She put her hair up in a high ponytail and walked over to us. "I'm gonna need some of that!"

"Want me to get your back?" I offered.

"Yeah, thanks." She handed me her bottle, and I squirted out a bunch and started rubbing it in.

Just then, Merida's mom called to her from inside the house. "There's someone at the door, could you get it please?"

"Sure, Mum!" Merida ran across the yard and into the house.
