Chapter 43: Open Season

(A/N: I know last time I said my Netflix was working. But of course based on me publishing this, you guys are already aware that it doesn't work again...🥲)

Third P.O.V

"Take it out." Nameless, the guy in the center with a techmast on, said as he pointed at the glitch. The forcefield disappeared and the dabney glitch techs struck into action. Using portals to suck up the goop blast. Next thing they know, portals open up in front of them. "Incoming!" Mitch yelled as they gasped. The all tried to dodge the goop. Mitch grabs Kitty to shield her, but didn't realize his predicament, as he screams 'no' when hit with goop. The dabney glitch techs then contained the glitch with a final blast. "Hey! That was our glitch!" Miko said. "Who do you clowns think you are!" Zahra shouted. "We're the real glitch tech!" Nameless said as they struck a pose.

"I'm sorry, come again? Your costumes are blinding me." Mitch chuckled sarcastically as he brushed his hair with a comb to get out any glitch goop. "I'm Wes." one of the twins with a bald head said. "Ray." the other answered who had pink hair at the top of her head. "Hey, I'm Xander" the other guy said. (A/N: Of course Xander is a made up OC guy for the story to match up the number of people on each tech team!)

"Sup guys?" Simi said, she used to be at the Bailly devision with them. "Simi? I thought you transfered to the Dabney store." Kitty said. "They're all from the Dabney store." Five concluded. "So which one of you is the glitch thief? Huh? I need an answer." Nameless said sternly. "Nameless needs an answer." Ray said as her and Wes put their hands to their ears. "Hang on, Nameless? Is that a joke? Or did you forget to ender one when you created that ridiculous avatar?" Mitch laughed.

"It was a rare glitch you guys." Simi pipped in. "Yeah, would have been worth a ton of XP." Xander added. "Our boss already told your boss. Nobody took anything from you." Zahra said as she stepped up to Simi. "Heat signatures don't lie. I captured this still from my visor." Wes said as he pulled up the footage of Five, Kitty, Miko's and Mitch's heat signatures earlier that day by the town line. "Guys, we're all techs. Shouldn't we all ge on the same team?" Five asked, not wanting for this to cause any dispute. "Do I hear guilt or is he always this much of a goody-two-shoes?" Nameless asked. "They don't come much goodier." Kitty said confidently, knowing her brother. Or so she thinks. "Oh? And what about you, kitten?" Xander said as he bent down a bit to go face to face with Kitty. "I-its Kitty not kitten." Kitty snapped with an angry look, a bit embarrassed/fluttered he called her kitten. Mitch caught that and glared at Xander with a low grumble.

"And earth to Ray, your blurry, bigfoot, evidence is super unacceptable." Zahra defended. "Ugh, so no body is gonna fess up?" Simi sighed. Five was about to say something but Mitch stopped him. "Looks like there's nothing to fess." Mitch challenged as he put his arm around Five to keep him from speaking. "Fine..then from now on, I guess it's open season on glitches. Techs! Assemble and roll out." Nameless said as they posed and poofed away. "Wh-where did they go?" Kitty said, confused as to how they disappeared like that. "Is he kidding with that?" Miko asked. "Uh, what does open season mean?" Five asked. All of a sudden their gauntlets started going off. "Warning, Trojan virus detected." the gauntlet said. All of a sudden Mitch, Five, Miko, and Zahra's gauntlets grew 3/4 their body size. "Those punks hacked our gauntlets!" Zahra said angirly.

"It means those techs aren't leaving town anytime soon." Mitch answered. "Wait...why didn't mine get all big?" Kitty said as she looked at her gauntlet. All of a sudden a burst of flowers came from her gauntlet. She yelled out in surprise as she's surrounded by flowers from head to toe. She looks down at her gauntlet and it said: "You're welcome, kitten. Call me. - X" with a phone number. Kitty grew flustered as her face goes red. Never before has anyone hit on her like this before. "Oooh, that Xander guy likes you." Miko teased. "What!?" Mitch said in rage, as he looked at Kitty's gauntlet. Seeing the message. He was bout ready to burn the whole park down if his gauntlet wasn't holding him down. "If that wannabe Dabney tech thinks he can sweep my girl right from under me, he's got another thing coming!" Mitch said as he goes dragging his gauntlet to the van so they can figure out how to fix their gauntlets.
