Chapter 44: Glitch Techs!

Third P.O.V 

Kitty and Five remembered something Phil said about how the sludges are drawn toward one another and turns into a big one when joined. "Guys! We can't let the glitches touch each other!" Kitty yelled out. But they didn't pay attention because they were too busy fighting each other for the glitches. "Uh, guys! Focus on the glitch!" Five said. Kitty took the opportunity to try and take on the glitch to keep them from each other. Forming boundaries around them, but it wasn't strong enough as they neared each other. She was knocked to the side and Xander ran in and caught her.

"I always thought kittens landed on their feet." Xander flirted. "Ugh, not now! We gotta keep these glitches away from each other!" Kitty said as she shoved Xander off of her and went to take on the glitch but she was pushed aside by Xander. "Can't let you get that glitch, kitten" he said. Kitty was gettin really irritated with him as she starts to fight him. "Oh no!" Five said as he saw the glitches merging together. "Admit the truth!" Nameless said as he goes to fight Five. "We know you took it!" Nameless said as he pushed against Five. "Why are you all so hard stuck on this?" Miko said as she held her blade against Ray's. "Why can't you just own up?" Simi said as she held Mitch's weapon back. "For the last time! nobody stole anything from-!" Zahra said as she pushed against Wes. 

"It was me ok!? I did it! I stole Pancake McGuffin!" Five admitted, everyone on his team looking at him in shock. "And there it is." Mitch said with a smirk. Five unlocked his gauntlet and released Pancake. "Dude.." Miko said. "All of this was over a rare kitty glitch?" Kitty sighed in disbelief. "Wait, so you stole it from Mitch after he stole it?" Zahra asked. "Are you?...Seriously?" Mitch said, offended. "Mitch didn't steal anything." Kitty defended after realizing the story. "It escaped from our town. I was one foot over the line. And where does it say we can't catch glitches in each other's towns anyway?" Five said in aggravation. 

All of a sudden out of no where, a green sludge grabs Pancake and eats it. "Pancake no!" Kitty cried out. Five yells out in panic as the big green sludge glitch towered over them. "Great, now nobody gets it." Simi said. "Seriously?! That's the least of our worries!" Kitty yelled out. "I'm sorry okay? I should have confessed from the start. Now can we please work together on this? Glitch techs are supposed to be a team, isn't it?" Five exclaimed. "Ugh, such a goody goody." Mitch groaned. "Techs, give me a tactical estimate." Nameless said as he placed a hand on Mitch's shoulder, which he brushes off disguested. "Looks like were starting a co-op game." Miko said excited. "Step lock showed five potential weak points." Wes answered as he scanned over the glitch. 

"Gonna have to surround them." Miko said. "Ready!" Mitch said as he activated his visor and fixed his hair. "Kay! Lets take em down!" Five said determined. "For Pancake McGuffin!" Kitty yelled out. "For Pancake!" the others cheered along. Ray and Miko run in with their swords together, striking at one of the weak points. "Wow! show me how to do that charge?" Miko asked Ray. "If you show me how to wield that tow handed strike." Ray said. Mitch and Wes gets ready to strike. "Got anything in that gauntlet besides party tricks?" Mitch asked. Wes typed on his gauntlet. "Buff unlocked, tri-shot." Mitch's gauntlet said. "Give this a try!" Wes said, making a pun. "More buffs, less puns." Mitch said as the both of them activated a shooter that shot three blast at the glitch. Causing them to hit another weak point. 

"Ugh, please don't tell me you expect us to bond." Simi said as she shot at the glitch. "Yeah, can you stop talking? I'm trying to kick butt and look good doing it." Zahra said. The two of them unlocking a 'Silent Bond' ahcivement. The two of them manage to hit the next weak spot on the glitch. "Shall we dance?" Xander said as he held his hand out to Kitty. She only took it so that Xander could spin her around and give her a boost as he tossed her in the air. She did a flawless somersault in the air, blasting at the glitch's next weak point at the top of it's head. Xander quickly ran over to the other side of the glitch with speed boosters to catch her. But Mitch pushed him aside and caught Kitty instead. "Mitch!" Kitty said as she held onto him. "Sorry Xander, but I meant to tell you I have a boyfriend." Kitty said as Mitch placed her down. She helped Xander off the ground. "Yeah, and it's me!" Mitch boasted as he pulled Kitty close to him. Xander groaned on the floor, gaining a secret hidden achievement of 'Respect and Envy'.
