Hindi ko alam kung ilang beses kong sinampal-sampal ang sarili ko dahil kay Natanius na 'yon. Bakit ba ako nagpapadala sa mga pang aasar niya sa'kin?

Really? Asking for the brand of my bag? Asking for the title of books? My gosh! He made me believe that his sister was asking for those! Natanius is really playful. He loves playing with me. Sa palagay niya ba laruan ako?

"Oh? Natanius again?" My cousin, Eurika asked.

Kanina pa ako hindi makapagfocus sa ginagawa ko dahil sa inis sa kaniya. Hinatid niya ako classroom at alibi ang kaniyang ginawang pagtanong? I want to punch him seriously! Not because he's one of the sons of Mr. and Mrs. Demercibal doesn't mean he can do whatever he wants! Baka nakakalimutan niyang president ako ng school na 'to?

"Napapansin ko kay Nat parang may gusto siya sa'yo," Eurika said while giggling.

I gave her a glare, "Stop with your nasty mind. Natanius is just playful-"

"To you?" She chuckles, "Imagine, Cousin. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Demercibal but he wants to be with you every day. Sinong hindi makakapansin na gusto ka niya?"

"He wants to play with me. Gustong-gusto niya akong naiinis." I said. "Gaya na lang kagabi, he asked me for a date but when I said okay. He laughed!"

Namilog ang mga mata ni Eurika. "Oh my god! Did you just say na inaya ka niyang magdate?"

"He's just kidding, he even said I'm not his type. As if, he's my type." I've been rolling my eyes for how many times.

She crossed her arms, she looked like thinking about things. Napailing na lang ako at tinuon ang pansin sa notebook at ballpen na nasa harapan ko.

Eurika snapped her fingers in front of me, "Nille, why don't you ask him if he wants you?"

I creased my forehead. "My god, Euri! Ayoko! I already told you he doesn't want me."

"Pero-"

"Shut up!" I hissed. "Hindi ko rin naman siya gusto!"

Humagikgik siya, "Kamusta nga pala bago mong plano?"

She's talking about the new project of school. Since I'm the president, elected by the students of DU, I am responsible for the projects and everything in DU. Napatungo ako sa tanong niya, 'yun nga ang iniisip ko mula pa kanina.

I have a notebook and a ballpen in front of me but I wrote nothing. Kung hindi sana ako ginugulo ni Natanius ay may nasulat na ako pero buong week niya akong pinagtripan kaya wala akong nagawa kahit ano pa na isa sa project na gusto kong gawin.

"Earth to Nille, what's happening? You seem preoccupied?" Eurika was still here, looking at me like I did wrong.

"I don't have a plan yet." I said directly, "My mind isn't working."

"Oh, that's new. Bakit naman wala? Diba every week kang may inaasikaso na proyekto?" I know she's also confused.

"I have an idea about voluntarily." I said, "Yung mga may gustong magvolunteer sa proyekto. Ako naman kasi na nag-aassign at pagkatapos ayaw naman talaga!"

"Good idea," She said, "Marami pa naman sa DU ang arte arte akala mo naman ang gaganda at ang lilinis ng kamay para hindi magcooperate sa project ng school!"

I did not answer. Instead, I dropped my eyes down the paper. Ngumuso ako bago ituon ang atensyon sa papel. I need to do this as soon as possible, I don't want to disappoint Mrs. Josepa Demercibal, the principal of this school.
