CHAPTER: 20

I went to bed with a huge smile on my lips. Soobin asked me to stay in his room because it was the safest. After freshening up, I step in the room. My eyes immideatly travelling outside the window, sky lighten up by the moon. Its waxing gibbous and soon its going be full moon. My heart suddenly pounded, just once. The feeling of restlessness arose. I placed my hand on my chest.

The door opens I see Soobin standing there. I smiled faintly, he walked inside closing the door behind.

"I'll sleep on the couch, you can take the bed," He said grabbing the pillow from the bed. My eyes widen as I rushed to him trying to taking away the pillow.

"Are you stupid? You're hurt you should sleep on the bed. I can sleep on the couch!" He didn't say anything just stared at me blankly.
"Its okay, Its not even that much I can slee-"
"Are you kidding me? No way I can't let you sleep on the couch, it will be uncomfortable for you," I said taking away the pillow which he finally let go.

My inside felt hollow for a moment and the feeling I had just moments before return. I frown but flashed a small smile at Soobin, just to notice the colour of his eyes switching between red and black. Ignoring it, I place my hand on my chest and moved towards the couch. I sit down with a rueful sigh, the pain in chest now added to the feeling of anxiousness and restlessness. I bit my lips to endure the pain. I lazily gazed at Soobin who stood froze in his place staring at me. His eyes now completely red, not switching between colours. The gaze, it was not just a casual stare. Their was something unusual. I mean I didn't feel uncomfortable but I felt weird. I was now used to the changing colour thing. But...

I shook the thought of my head and dropped my head on the pillow. I hugged myself to sleep. I heard him sighing as he walks to the bed. I heard him shuffling and when it was absolutely quite I knew he was asleep. My body still felt that way but supressing it all inside me. I tried to fall asleep, next morning woke up to realize that it had gotten worse.

In morning, I wake up with my body heating like boiling water. Do I have fever? I thought. My body was hurting all over and I couldn't understand the reason of all this. I curl into a ball because of the excruciating pain. I hear the sound of door opening, I turn my head slightly to see housekeeper, her eyes filled with worry.

"Miss Park! Are you okay?" She asks as she places the things in her hand on the armchair as she moves closer to me. My body was hurting so much that even moving a muscle felt like hoong through hell. I winced again.

"Can you sit up? I have brought the medicine that can ease the pain," She said and I look at her, smiling faintly I push myself and sit up breathing heavily.

"Is it pain killer?" I inquire raising my brows. She purse her lips and before sighing, "No its supressants, you're going through heat it will momentarily supress your sexual urges," As soon as she said, I could feel my heart in my mouth.
"H-heat?" I stutter and she nods.
