Tricksters part 2

So far, Granger was having a good day. Hetty hadn't questioned him on her drink rush from the day before, he had gotten his cup of coffee, it was a good day.

Later that day

'Well, you're in a good mood today.' Hetty said. 'Must be that good coffee you're drinking.'

'I guess so. It's surprisingly good today, like really good!' He answered.

'Ah. Why do you suppose that is?'

'Must've slipped in something extra sweet, or someone changed the coffee beans, because it's never this good! What IS in this?!'

'I'll tell you what it is.'

'What is it?'

'My tea.' Hetty answered.

Granger spit out his drink.

'What?!'

'I slipped some of my tea into your coffee when you put it down to answer your cell phone.' Hetty said.

'That can't be right!'

'Bring a cup of coffee over, I'll show you.'

Granger brought a cup of coffee over to her desk, she poured her tea into the coffee, and he tasted it.

'Unbelievable. You tricked me into drinking something you know I can't stand!' Granger shouted.

'And you spiked my tea yesterday and made me hyperactive! Yeah, that's right! I suspected I had tasted coffee in that drink!' Hetty responded.

'Oh crap. Sigh. It was supposed to be a fun joke. I wanted to see why you disliked coffee.'

'I had a cup a long time ago, I was up half the night. I was lucky I didn't become addicted to caffene. I'm pretty sure you figured that out yesterday.' Hetty said, bluntly.

'And you decided to get your revenge by spiking my drink with the one drink I don't like as a form of poetic justice. Touche.' Granger responded.

'I always get my payback when I've been wronged, You know that, dearie.'

'You know something? The tea making my coffee taste good, kind of resembles both of us. We both don't like each other's favorite drinks, yet, put them both them both together, well. Put us both together, we're unstoppable.'

Looking stunned at his genius observation, 'Huh. That's an interesting observation.' Hetty answered.

'You're not gonna spike my drink again, right?'

'No. At least for now.' (smirks).

'You're cute when you're a little trickster.' Granger said.

'Aww.'
