'You sure you didn't mind the ballet?' Hetty asked when they were driving home.

'I didn't. It was very nice.' Granger replied.

Hetty had gotten 2 tickets to a ballet, and she had asked Granger if he would go with her.

Except the next day at work

'You didn't really like it, did you?' Deeks asked.

'Heck no! The music almost put me to sleep, it was sooooo stuffy! I only came along because she kept going on and on at how hard it was to get tickets for this ballet, and I didn't want to let her down.' Granger replied.

'Kensi tried to drag me to one once, and I think I fell asleep before it was over.'

'Why do wives think trying to get their husbands to tag along with them to boring plays or dances is a good idea?'

'Well, could be worse. We could be dads and get dragged to amateur school plays.' Deeks replied.

Both men shuddered.

That night

'I'm sorry I dragged you to the ballet. I know it wasn't your thing.' Hetty said.

'How did you know?' Granger asked.

'You went to bed right after we got home without saying anything, and when I talked about it at breakfast, you said nothing. I notice these things.' Hetty replied.

'Didn't want you to think I was being ungrateful.'

'Well, to make it up to you, how about we go upstairs and, (leaning in), I'll make things worth your while?'

(Smiling), 'You make good propositions.' Then he kissed her on the nose and they went upstairs.
