It was a chilly night, Hetty had a fire going, and she and Granger were sitting on the couch next to the fire.
'Sigh. Can we stay this peaceful forever?' Hetty asked, blissfully.
'You mean, no bad guys to catch, no walking into the most awkward conversations between co workers?' Granger replied.
'Yeah, that sounds too easy.'
'Don't get me wrong, you have the right idea. Just, could any of us really adjust to not being on edge all the time, not feeling like we're always being watched?'
'Okay okay, it was a dumb idea! It was just something I said in the heat of the moment!' Hetty exclaimed.
'Sorry about that. Want to change the subject?'
'Yes please!'
Silence.
'I got nothing, you?' Granger asked.
'Surprisingly, nothing.' Hetty replied.
'Want to just enjoy sitting here enjoying the moment?'
'That's what we were doing before, so yes.'
2 minutes later
'You're amazing.' Granger said.
'You're not so bad yourself.' Hetty replied.
