Peaceful Morning (extended)

The extended version from my Fluffbruary 2022 collection. :)

Hetty was at the beach, sitting in her favorite beach chair, enjoying the peace and quiet when her husband walked over and sat down next to her.

'You look peaceful.' He remarked.

'This is a peaceful place, Owen. And it's been a long couple of days. (deep sigh). I love it out here, it's so peaceful. We may live in a tough city that we fight tooth and nail every day to protect, but having a quiet place to relax and take life in, makes our job all that more bearable.' Hetty said in a relaxing voice.

(Smiling). 'You're so wise. How do you do it?'

'Life experience. I'm sure you have some wisdom throughout your life.'

'Does knowing how to avoid ticking women off count?' Granger jokingly asked.

Hetty laughed.

'Aw, haven't seen you laugh in a while.'

'Well, (holding his hand), I love it when you make me laugh.' Hetty replied, flashing her sweet smile.

'And, I love your smile!'

'Are your legs getting all jittery because I'm smiling?!' Hetty exclaimed.

Feeling embarrassed. 'Maybe?'

(Laughing). 'That is so adorable!'

'How is it that you have such a soft side despite being so tough layored? It's stunning!' Granger asked.

'Well, having nice people in my life helps. Along with an adorable husband who definitely looks like he wants to ask me something based on his jittery legs!'

'Okay! Okay. I have an overwhelming urge to kiss you so hard right now because you look so beautiful and wise right now and I want to cherish it!' Granger exclaimed.

Looking really stunned. 'Well (chuckle), if that's what you want, just lean over and pucker up, baby!'

'Would saying 'Let's take it upstairs' ruin the moment?'

'Not at all! In fact, (smiling mischivously), that just makes it even better.' Hetty grinned.

'Then what are we waiting for?'

'Can you get up the stairs okay with those jittery legs?' Hetty teased.

'(Chuckle). I'll be fine. I know you won't let me fall.'

Later

'Whoo! If just sitting in a beach chair saying wise things is enough to turn you on, then I should do it more often! (chuckle).' Hetty teased.

'Nah. I was just in a good mood.' Granger replied.

'You sure of that?'

'Not at all!' Then they went right back to kissing.
