Better Angels, flipped

Note: As you can guess from the title, this is the case from Season 10's Better Angels, flipped. Enjoy!

One day, Hetty had been called out into the field. Someone that she knew of was in trouble.

When she got to the scene, the situation was explained to her. Someone had rammed the person into the wall with a car and left him there. And the real problem: If the fire department removed the car, the person would die.

'Then, why am I here?!' Hetty asked.

'Because he said he knew you, and he might know who might've wanted him dead.' The officer replied.

'Oh. Well, I'll try to see what I can get out of him.'

Hetty stayed with him the whole afternoon, and eventually got enough info on the criminal for her team to find.

That evening, the car was removed. Then Hetty went home.

Granger had gotten word of what Hetty had been doing all day, Eric told him that she would meet him at home.

At home

'Before you bend down and give me a hug, which I know you will because you want to cheer me up, let me just say, that I don't want to argue with you anymore on whatever it is we've been arguing over for the past 2 days!' Hetty said.

'I don't want to argue with you either. In fact, what were we even arguing over anyways?' Granger replied.

'I don't remember either. I saw that guy make a call to his wife. He didn't say that he was dying, but she's now going to get a call saying that he's dead, and. I don't know what I'd do if I ever got a call like that from you and I find out that you died hours later!'

'I hope I never have to make that kind of call to you. Want that hug now?'

'Yes!'

They hugged for 2 minutes.

'I'm sorry you had to go through that.' Granger said.

'I am too.' Hetty replied.

'I made you dinner, I figured you wouldn't be in much of a cooking mood'

'Thank you.'
